Her husband had been created Earl Richmond in his own right in 1218 so possible her son didn't inherit the first, contested, creation since he would succeed to the second creation.

In 1243 [his daughter] Alix Capet Countess Saint Pol was born to John "The Red" Capet I Duke Brittany (age 25) and [his wife] Blanche "Navarre" Blois Duchess Brittany (age 17). She married her third cousin once removed John Chatillon I Count Saint Pol, son of Hugh Chatillon I Count Blois V Count Saint Pol and Mary Avesnes, and had issue.

In 1245 [his son] Theobald Capet was born to John "The Red" Capet I Duke Brittany (age 27) and [his wife] Blanche "Navarre" Blois Duchess Brittany (age 19). He died aged one in 1246.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. On 04 or 5th December 1270 [his brother-in-law] Theobald "Young" II King Navarre (age 30) died at Trapani returning from the Eighth Crusade. His brother [his brother-in-law] Henry (age 26) succeeded I King Navarre, III Count Champagne. Blanche Capet Queen Navarre (age 22) by marriage Queen Navarre, Countess Champagne.

Before 9th May 1271 King Edward I of England (age 31) and Eleanor of Castile Queen Consort England (age 30) sailed from Palermo [Map] and travelled to Acre [Map] arriving on 9th May 1271. They were later joined by Edmund "Crouchback" Plantagenet 1st Earl of Leicester 1st Earl Lancaster (age 26), John "The Red" Capet I Duke Brittany (age 53) and Teobaldo Visconti Archdeacon of Liège (age 41) (who would become Pope a month later).
