Tudor Books, Bulletin of the Society of the History of France

Bulletin of the Society of the History of France is in Tudor Books.

1525. 44. A statement made in 1525 by the very esteemed lady, Madame the Archduchess of Austria and Countess of Burgundy, Regent and Governor of the Netherlands, for the management and maintenance of her household; in folio, written in the script of the time.

This manuscript can be considered original, as it was given to Viron, one of the maîtres d'hôtel of the Archduchess's household; and it was from M. Viron d'Oostkerque, a descendant of this figure, that M. Gérard obtained it. It is of interest for the history of customs.
