Biography of Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor 1819-1894

In 1811 [his father] Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill 3rd Marquess Downshire (age 22) and [his mother] Maria Windsor Marchioness Downshire (age 21) were married. She by marriage Marchioness Downshire. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Other Windsor 5th Earl Plymouth and [his grandmother] Sarah Archer Countess Plymouth and Amherst (age 49). He the son of [his grandfather] Arthur Hill 2nd Marquess Downshire and [his grandmother] Mary Sandys Marchioness Downshire (age 46). They were half third cousins.

On 4th November 1819 Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor was born to Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill 3rd Marquess Downshire (age 31) and Maria Windsor Marchioness Downshire (age 29).

In 1845 Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 25) was elected MP County Down which seat he held for thirty-five years.

On 12th September 1845 [his father] Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill 3rd Marquess Downshire (age 56) died. His son [his brother] Arthur (age 33) succeeded 4th Marquess Downshire. Caroline Stapleton-Cotton Marchioness Downshire (age 30) by marriage Marchioness Downshire.

On 27th June 1848 Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 28) and Emily Mary Sutton were married. He the son of Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill 3rd Marquess Downshire and Maria Windsor Marchioness Downshire (age 58). They were fourth cousins.

On 12th November 1850 [his daughter] Gertrude Mary Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 31) and [his wife] Emily Mary Sutton.

On 19th November 1852 [his son] Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 33) and [his wife] Emily Mary Sutton.

On 24th January 1855 [his wife] Emily Mary Sutton died.

On 7th April 1855 [his mother] Maria Windsor Marchioness Downshire (age 65) died.

On 15th April 1858 Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 38) and Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 20) were married. He the son of Arthur Blundell Sandys Trumbull Hill 3rd Marquess Downshire and Maria Windsor Marchioness Downshire.

On 30th March 1861 [his daughter] Edith Maria Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 41) and [his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 23).

On 11th August 1862 Arthur Hill-Trevor 3rd Viscount Dungannon (age 63) died. Viscount Dungannon extinct. Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 42) inherited his estates including those at Brynkinalt, and changed his surname from Hill to Hill-Trevor.

On 22nd November 1862 [his daughter] Nina Emily Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 43) and [his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 24).

On 22nd December 1863 [his son] Charles Edward Hill-Trevor 3rd Baron Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 44) and [his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 26).

On 23rd January 1869 [his son] Lieutenant Neville Windsor Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 49) and [his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 31).

On 1st February 1870 [his daughter] Gertrude Mary Hill-Trevor (age 19) died.

On 18th September 1870 [his son] Leila Sophia Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 50) and [his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 32).

Charles Frederick Abney-Hastings (age 57), of Donington Park, in the county of Leicester, Esq., by the name, style, and title of Baron Donington, of Donington Park, in the said county of Leicester.

Arthur Edwin Hill Trevor (age 60), Esq. (commonly called Lord Arthur Edwin Hill Trevor), by the name, style and title of Baron Trevor, of Brynkinalt, in the county of Denbigh. [[his wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 42) by marriage Baroness Trevor of Brynkinalt in Denbighshire].

Gertrude Mary Hill-Trevor: On 12th November 1850 she was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor and Emily Mary Sutton. On 1st February 1870 Gertrude Mary Hill-Trevor died.

Lieutenant Neville Windsor Hill-Trevor: On 23rd January 1869 he was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor and Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor. On 24th January 1900 Lieutenant Neville Windsor Hill-Trevor was killed in action at the battle of Battle of Spion Kop serving with the 2nd Life Guards of Thornycroft's Mounted Infantry.

On 30th August 1893 [his son] Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor (age 40) and [his daughter-in-law] Annie Mary Eleanor Fraser (age 36) were married.

On 26th July 1894 [his daughter] Nina Emily Hill-Trevor (age 31) died.

On 25th December 1894 Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor (age 75) died. His son [his son] Arthur (age 42) succeeded 2nd Baron Trevor of Brynkinalt in Denbighshire.

On 20th August 1911 [his former wife] Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor (age 73) died.

[his son] George Edwyn Hill-Trevor was born to Arthur Edwin Hill aka Hill-Trevor 1st Baron Trevor and Mary Catherine Curzon Baroness Trevor.
