Biography of Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton 1632-1706

On 8th May 1630 [his father] Christopher Hatton 1st Baron Hatton (age 24) and [his mother] Elizabeth Montagu Baroness Hatton (age 18) were married in Hackney.

In 1632 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton was born to Christopher Hatton 1st Baron Hatton (age 26) and Elizabeth Montagu Baroness Hatton (age 19).

On 12th February 1667 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 35) and Cicely Tufton Viscountess Hatton (age 18) were married. She by marriage Viscountess Hatton. She the daughter of John Tufton 2nd Earl of Thanet and Margaret Sackville Countess Isle Thanet (age 52). They were sixth cousins.

On 4th June 1670 [his father] Christopher Hatton 1st Baron Hatton (age 64) died. His son Christopher (age 38) succeeded 2nd Baron Hatton.

In 1672 [his mother] Elizabeth Montagu Baroness Hatton (age 59) died at Castle Cornet, Guernsey [Map] after lightning struck a powder magazine.

On 30th December 1672 [his wife] Cicely Tufton Viscountess Hatton (age 24) died.

Before 27th December 1675 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 43) and Frances Yelverton Viscountess Hatton were married.

On 17th January 1683 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 51) was created 1st Viscount Hatton. [his wife] Frances Yelverton Viscountess Hatton by marriage Viscountess Hatton.

On 15th May 1684 [his wife] Frances Yelverton Viscountess Hatton died.

In August 1685 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 53) and Elizabeth Haslewood Viscountess Hatton were married. She by marriage Viscountess Hatton.

On 29th December 1685 [his son-in-law] Daniel Finch 2nd Earl Nottingham 7th Earl Winchilsea (age 38) and [his daughter] Anne Hatton Countess Nottingham and Winchelsea were married. She being a fourth-cousin once-removed of his first wife Essex Rich Countess Nottingham. She by marriage Countess Nottingham. He the son of Heneage Finch 1st Earl Nottingham and Elizabeth Harvey Baroness Finch.

On or before 7th February 1690 [his son] William Seton Hatton 2nd Viscount Hatton was born to Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 58) and [his wife] Elizabeth Haslewood Viscountess Hatton. He was baptised on 7th February 1690.

Around 1700 [his son] Henry Charles Hatton 3rd Viscount was born to Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 68) and [his wife] Elizabeth Haslewood Viscountess Hatton.

In 1706 Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton (age 74) died. His son [his son] William (age 15) succeeded 2nd Viscount Hatton, 3rd Baron Hatton.

On 15th January 1733 [his former wife] Elizabeth Haslewood Viscountess Hatton died.

[his daughter] Anne Hatton Countess Nottingham and Winchelsea was born to Christopher Hatton 1st Viscount Hatton and Cicely Tufton Viscountess Hatton.
