On 22nd May 1832 [his father] Richard Bootle-Wilbraham [aged 30] and [his mother] Jessy Brooke were married.

On 12th December 1837 Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom was born to [his father] Richard Bootle-Wilbraham [aged 36] and [his mother] Jessy Brooke in Blythe Hall, Lathom.

On 5th May 1844 [his father] Richard Bootle-Wilbraham [aged 42] died of influenza.

On 3rd April 1853 [his grandfather] Edward Bootle-Wilbraham 1st Baron Skelmersdale died. His grandson Edward [aged 15] succeeded 2nd Baron Skelmersdale in Lancashhire.

On 17th August 1860 Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom [aged 22] and Alice Villiers Countess Lathom [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of George William Villiers 4th Earl Clarendon [aged 60] and Katherine Grimston Countess Clarendon [aged 50].

On 31st May 1864 Frederick Arthur Stanley 16th Earl of Derby [aged 23] and [his sister-in-law] Constance Villiers Countess Derby [aged 24] were married. She the daughter of [his father-in-law] George William Villiers 4th Earl Clarendon [aged 64] and [his mother-in-law] Katherine Grimston Countess Clarendon [aged 54]. He the son of Edward Smith-Stanley 14th Earl of Derby [aged 65] and [his aunt] Emma Caroline Bootle-Wilbraham Countess Derby [aged 59].

On 25th October 1864 [his son] Edward George Bootle Wibraham 2nd Earl Lathom was born to Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom [aged 26] and [his wife] Alice Villiers Countess Lathom [aged 23]. He married 15th August 1889 his second cousin Wilma Pleydell-Bouverie Countess Lathom, daughter of William Pleydell-Bouverie 5th Earl Radnor and Helen Matilda Chaplin Countess Radnor, and had issue.

On 27th June 1870 [his father-in-law] George William Villiers 4th Earl Clarendon [aged 70] died. His son [his brother-in-law] Edward [aged 24] succeeded 5th Earl Clarendon, 5th Baron Hyde of Hindon in Wiltshire 1756.

On 6th September 1876 [his brother-in-law] Edward Villiers 5th Earl Clarendon [aged 30] and Caroline Elizabeth Agar Countess Clarendon [aged 19] were married at Harbridge, Someroy. She by marriage Countess Clarendon. She the daughter of James Charles Agar 3rd Earl Normanton [aged 57] and Caroline Susan Augusta Barrington Countess Normanton [aged 41]. He the son of [his father-in-law] George William Villiers 4th Earl Clarendon and [his mother-in-law] Katherine Grimston Countess Clarendon. They were sixth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

In 1880 Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom [aged 42] was created 1st Earl Lathom. [his wife] Alice Villiers Countess Lathom [aged 39] by marriage Countess Lathom.

On 15th August 1889 Edward George Bootle Wibraham 2nd Earl Lathom [aged 24] and Wilma Pleydell-Bouverie Countess Lathom [aged 19] were married. She the daughter of William Pleydell-Bouverie 5th Earl Radnor [aged 48] and Helen Matilda Chaplin Countess Radnor [aged 43]. He the son of Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom [aged 51] and Alice Villiers Countess Lathom [aged 48]. They were second cousins.

On 18th July 1892 [his mother] Jessy Brooke died.

In 1897 [his wife] Alice Villiers Countess Lathom [aged 56] died.

On 19th November 1898 Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom [aged 60] died. His son Edward [aged 34] succeeded 2nd Earl Lathom, 3rd Baron Skelmersdale in Lancashhire. Wilma Pleydell-Bouverie Countess Lathom [aged 29] by marriage Countess Lathom.

[his daughter] Florence Bootle Wibraham was born to Edward Bootle Wibraham 1st Earl Lathom and Alice Villiers Countess Lathom.
