Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 13 Nov 1440 [his mother] Joan Beaufort Countess of Westmoreland (age 61) died at Howden. She was buried at Lincoln Cathedral [Map] next to her mother [his grandmother] Katherine Roet Duchess Lancaster.

On 11 Jun 1446 [his brother-in-law] Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick (age 21) died at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire. Duke Warwick extinct. His daughter Anne (age 3) succeeded 15th Countess Warwick, 7th Baroness Burghesh.
On 03 Jan 1448 Anne Beauchamp 15th Countess Warwick (age 4) died at Ewelme, Oxfordshire aged four whilst in the care of Alice Chaucer Duchess Suffolk (age 44). She was buried at Reading Abbey, Berkshire [Map]. Baron Burghesh abeyant between her three-half aunts and her full aunt [his sister-in-law] Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick (age 21). It isn't clear why the barony was not subject to the same legal dispute that the Earldom of Warwick was subject to - see following.
After a prolonged legal dispute between her three half-aunts, Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 44), Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 39), Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Latimer (age 31) and her full aunt Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick, the courts decided her full aunt Anne Beauchamp should succeed. Anne Beauchamp succeeded 16th Countess Warwick. Her husband Richard Neville (age 19) by marriage Earl Warwick; the first step on his journey to becoming Kingmaker.
The decision of the court was not subscribed to by Edmund Beaufort Earl Somerset (age 42) who was married to Anne's half-sister Eleanor; he wanted his share of the considerable Beauchamp inheritance.
On 18 Jun 1448 [his wife] Elizabeth Beauchamp 3rd Baroness Bergavenny (age 32) died. Her son [his son] George (age 8) succeeded 4th Baron Bergavenny.
After 18 Jun 1448 Edward Neville 1st Baron Bergavenny (age 35) and Katherine Howard Baroness Bergavenny (age 34) were married. He the son of Ralph Neville 1st Earl of Westmoreland and Joan Beaufort Countess of Westmoreland. He a great grandson of King Edward III of England. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward I of England.
In 1450 Edward Neville 1st Baron Bergavenny (age 37) was created 1st Baron Bergavenny. A new creation since his son had already inherited the title Baron Bergavenny when his mother died in 1448.

In 1454 Edward Neville 1st Baron Bergavenny (age 41) was appointed to the Privy Council.

On 04 May 1471 King Edward IV of England (age 29) was victorious at the 4th May 1471 Battle of Tewkesbury. His brother Richard (age 18), Richard Beauchamp 2nd Baron Beauchamp Powick (age 36), [his brother-in-law] John Howard 1st Duke of Norfolk (age 46), [his son] George Neville 4th and 2nd Baron Bergavenny (age 31), John Savage (age 49), John Savage (age 27), Thomas St Leger (age 31), John Tuchet 6th Baron Audley, 3rd Baron Tuchet (age 45), Thomas Burgh 1st Baron Burgh of Gainsborough (age 40) fought. William Brandon (age 46), George Browne (age 31), Ralph Hastings, Richard Hastings Baron Willoughby (age 38), James Tyrrell (age 16), Roger Kynaston of Myddle and Hordley (age 38) were knighted. William Hastings 1st Baron Hastings (age 40) commanded.
Margaret of Anjou (age 41) was captured. Her son Edward of Westminster Prince of Wales (age 17) was killed. He was the last of the Lancastrian line excluding the illegitmate Charles Somerset 1st Earl of Worcester (age 11) whose line continues to the present.
John Courtenay 15th Earl Devon (age 36) was killed and attainted. Earl Devon, Baron Courtenay forfeit. Some sources refer to these titles as being abeyant?
John Wenlock 1st Baron Wenlock (age 71) was killed. Baron Wenlock extinct.
John Delves (age 49), John Beaufort (age 30), William Vaux of Harrowden (age 35) and Robert Whittingham (age 42) were killed.
Edmund Beaufort 3rd Duke of Somerset (age 32), Humphrey Tuchet (age 37) and Hugh Courtenay (age 44) were captured.
Henry Roos fought and escaped to Tewkesbury Abbey [Map] where he sought sanctuary. He was subsequently pardoned.
In or before 1475 [his daughter] Anne Neville was born to Edward Neville 1st Baron Bergavenny (age 62) and [his wife] Katherine Howard Baroness Bergavenny (age 60). She a great x 2 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
