Jean de Waurin's Chronicle of England Volume 6 Books 3-6: The Wars of the Roses
Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

In October 1483 Edward Redman Lord Harewood (age 28) actively employed with John Scrope 5th Baron Scrope of Bolton (age 46), and others in arresting and imprisoning the rebels in Devon and Cornwall.
In 1484 Edward Redman Lord Harewood (age 29) was appointed Commissioner of Array for Dorset.
In 1484 Edward Redman Lord Harewood (age 29) was awarded the manor at Illubruar Manor, Somerset.
On 23rd October 1485 Edward Redman Lord Harewood (age 30) was pardoned for having supported Richard III.
In 1494 Edward Redman Lord Harewood (age 39) was appointed High Sheriff of Cumberland.

Elizabeth Huddlestone Baroness Harewood: In 1450 she was born to John Huddlestone 7th Lord Millom and Mary Fenwick Lady Millom. Around 1483 William Redman Lord Harewood died. He was buried at Levens, Heversham. His brother Edward succeeded Lord Harewood. She by marriage Lord Harewood. In or before 1510 Edward Redman Lord Harewood and she were married. They were fifth cousins. On 31st May 1526 Elizabeth Huddlestone Baroness Harewood died.
