On 22nd October 1494 [her father] John Seymour (age 20) and [her mother] Margery Wentworth were married.

Around 1518 Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham was born to [her father] John Seymour (age 44) and [her mother] Margery Wentworth at Wulf aka Wolf Hall, Wiltshire [Map].

In 1527 [her brother] Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 27) and [her sister-in-law] Catherine Filliol (age 20) were married.

Before 20th October 1528 [her future husband] John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester (age 18) and Elizabeth Willoughby were married. He the son of [her future father-in-law] William Paulet 1st Marquess Winchester (age 45) and [her future mother-in-law] Elizabeth Capell Marchioness Winchester. They were half fifth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

Around 1531 Anthony Ughtred (age 53) and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 13) were married. The difference in their ages was 40 years.

In 1532 [her father] John Seymour (age 58) was appointed Groom of the Bedchamber.

In 1533 [her son] Henry Ughtred was born to [her husband] Anthony Ughtred (age 55) and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 15) at Jersey. He married before 4th November 1576 his sixth cousin Elizabeth Paulett Countess Devon, daughter of John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester and Elizabeth Willoughby.

On 6th October 1534 [her husband] Anthony Ughtred (age 56) died at Jersey. He was buried at Mont Orgueil Chapel, Jersey.

In April 1536 [her brother] Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 36) and [her sister-in-law] Anne Stanhope Duchess Somerset (age 39) were married.

Marriage of Henry VIII and Jane Seymour

On 30th May 1536 [her brother-in-law] Henry VIII (age 44) and [her sister] Jane Seymour (age 27) were married at Whitehall Palace [Map] by Stephen Gardiner Bishop of Winchester (age 53). She by marriage Queen Consort England. He the son of King Henry VII of England and Ireland and Elizabeth York Queen Consort England. They were half fourth cousin once removed.

Eleanor Paston Countess Rutland (age 41) and Margaret Dymoke aka Mistress Coffin (age 36) were appointed Lady in Waiting to Queen Jane Seymour.

Death of Jane Seymour

On the night of the 24th and 25th October 1537 [her sister] Queen Jane Seymour (age 28) died around two in the morning at Hampton Court Palace [Map] as a result of complications arising from childbirth.

In 1538 [her son] Henry Cromwell 2nd Baron Cromwell Oakham was born to [her husband] Gregory Cromwell 1st Baron Cromwell Oakham (age 18) and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 20). He married before 1560 his sixth cousin Mary Paulett Baroness Cromwell Oakham, daughter of John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester and Elizabeth Willoughby, and had issue.

In 1539 [her son] Edward Cromwell was born to [her husband] Gregory Cromwell 1st Baron Cromwell Oakham (age 19) and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 21).

On 18th December 1540 [her husband] Gregory Cromwell 1st Baron Cromwell Oakham (age 20) was created 1st Baron Cromwell Oakham. Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 22) by marriage Baroness Cromwell Oakham.

Coronation of Edward VI

After 16th February 1547. The date uncertain but likely to be after the funeral of [her former brother-in-law] Henry VIII (deceased) [her nephew] King Edward VI of England and Ireland (age 9) made a number of new appointments although given King Edward VI of England and Ireland was only nine years old at the time, the titles were, in effect, bestowed by [her brother] Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 47).

William Parr 1st Marquess Northampton (age 35) was created 1st Marquess Northampton.

[her brother] Thomas Seymour 1st Baron Seymour (age 39) was created 1st Baron Seymour of Sudeley and appointed Lord High Admiral.

Around May 1547 [her brother] Thomas Seymour 1st Baron Seymour (age 39) and [her sister-in-law] Catherine Parr Queen Consort England (age 34) were married in secret only four months after the death of [her former brother-in-law] King Henry VIII of England and Ireland. They were sixth cousins. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.

Battle of Pinkie Cleugh

On 10th September 1547 an English army commanded by [her brother] Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 47) defeated a Scottish army commanded by James Hamilton 2nd Earl Arran (age 31) and Archibald Douglas 6th Earl Angus (age 58) at the Battle of Pinkie Cleugh at Musselburgh.

The English army included John Dudley 1st Duke Northumberland (age 43), Francis Talbot 5th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 47), Miles Partridge and Thomas Wentworth 2nd Baron Wentworth (age 22). John Thynne (age 32) and Edmund Brydges 2nd Baron Chandos (age 25) were knighted.

William Cecil 1st Baron Burghley (age 26) accompanied Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset.

Edward Shelley of Worminghurst Park (age 44) was killed.

John Forbes 6th Lord Forbes (age 82), Christopher Coningsby (age 31) and Edward Clere were killed.

John Thynne was knighted after the battle.

The Scottish army included John Gordon 11th Earl Sutherland (age 22) who commanded the Rearguard and Gilbert Kennedy 3rd Earl Cassilis (age 32). John Stewart, Robert Douglas (age 41), John Livingston, Thomas Hamilton of Priestfield and Hugh Montgomerie were killed. John Hay 4th Lord Hay was captured but soon released.

Malcolm Fleming 3rd Lord Fleming (age 53) was killed. His son James (age 13) succeeded 4th Lord Fleming. Barbara Hamilton Lady Fleming by marriage Lord Fleming.

Robert Graham Master of Montrose was killed.

Trial and Execution of Thomas Seymour

On 20th March 1549 [her brother] Thomas Seymour 1st Baron Seymour (age 41) was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. He was buried at St Peter ad Vincula Church, Tower of London [Map]. Baron Seymour of Sudeley forfeit.

Catherine Willoughby Duchess Suffolk (age 29) became guardian to his daughter [her niece] Mary Seymour.

1551 Sweating Sickness Outbreak

On 4th July 1551 [her husband] Gregory Cromwell 1st Baron Cromwell Oakham (age 31) died of sweating sickness. His son [her son] Henry (age 13) succeeded 2nd Baron Cromwell Oakham.

Trial and Execution of Edward Seymour Duke of Somerset and his Supporters

On 22nd January 1552 [her brother] Edward Seymour 1st Duke of Somerset (age 52) was beheaded at Tower Hill [Map]. He was buried at St Peter ad Vincula Church, Tower of London [Map]. Duke Somerset, Earl Hertford, Viscount Beauchamp forfeit. His great-grandson William Seymour 2nd Duke of Somerset was restored to the titles in 1660.

Before 1553 [her son] Edward Cromwell (age 13) died.

Around March 1554 John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester (age 44) and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 36) were married. He the son of William Paulet 1st Marquess Winchester (age 71) and Elizabeth Capell Marchioness Winchester. They were fifth cousins.

On 19th March 1556 Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham (age 38) died. She was buried at St Mary's Church, Basing.

Before May 1571 [her former husband] John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester (age 61) and Winifred Brydges Marchioness Winchester were married. He the son of [her former father-in-law] William Paulet 1st Marquess Winchester (age 88) and [her former mother-in-law] Elizabeth Capell Marchioness Winchester.

On 4th November 1576 [her former husband] John Paulet 2nd Marquess Winchester (age 66) died. His son [her former step-son] William (age 44) succeeded 3rd Marquess Winchester, 3rd Earl Wiltshire, 3rd Baron St John. Agnes Howard Marchioness Winchester (age 41) by marriage Marchioness Winchester.

[her daughter] Margery Ughtred was born to Anthony Ughtred and Elizabeth Seymour Baroness Cromwell Oakham at Kexby. She married William Hungate and had issue.
