On 29th July 1863 [his father] Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis (age 31) and [his mother] Harriet Elizabeth Mott were married. They had four children.
On 27th May 1864 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis was born to Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis (age 32) and Harriet Elizabeth Mott at Chacombe Priory, Banbury [Map].
On 24th April 1867 [his father] Fiennes Wykeham-Martin Cornwallis (age 35) died in a hunting accident. His son Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 2) inherited Boughton aka Bocton Place, Kent [Map].
In 1886 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 21) and Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis were married. They had three sons and four daughters
In 1888 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 23) was elected MP Maidstone which seat he held until 1900.

In May 1921 [his son] Fiennes Wykeham Mann Cornwallis (age 30) was killed in Ireland during the Irish War of Independence.
In 1922 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 57) sold Boughton aka Bocton Place, Kent [Map] to John Kitchin.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 11th March 1933 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 68) was appointed Honourary Colonel of the Thames and Medway Heavy Brigade, Royal Artillery.
On 26th September 1935 Fiennes Cornwallis 1st Baron Cornwallis (age 71) died. His son [his son] Wykeham (age 43) succeeded 2nd Baron Cornwallis of Linton in Kent.
In 1957 [his former wife] Mabel Leigh Baroness Cornwallis died.
