Biography of Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet 1692-1775

On 14 Jun 1677 [his father] Paul Whichcote 2nd Baronet (age 34) and [his mother] Jane Gould Lady Whichcote (age 14) were married. She by marriage Lady Whichcote of the Inner Temple in the City of London. The difference in their ages was 20 years.

Around 1692 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet was born to Paul Whichcote 2nd Baronet (age 49) and Jane Gould Lady Whichcote (age 29).

In 1698 [his mother] Jane Gould Lady Whichcote (age 35) died.

In 1708 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 16) was admitted to St Catharine's College, Cambridge University.

In 1711 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 19) was admitted to Trinity Hall, Cambridge University.

In 1717 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 25) and Mary Banks Lady Whichcote were married.

On 27 Nov 1718 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 26) was elected MP Cambridgeshire at a by-election. He was defeated in 1722 after which he didn't stand again.

On 18 Dec 1721 [his father] Paul Whichcote 2nd Baronet (age 78) died. His son Francis (age 29) succeeded 3rd Baronet Whichcote of the Inner Temple in the City of London. [his wife] Mary Banks Lady Whichcote by marriage Lady Whichcote of the Inner Temple in the City of London.

On 09 Sep 1726 [his wife] Mary Banks Lady Whichcote died.

In or before 1733 Neville Hickman 4th Baronet (age 31) and [his future wife] Frances Hall Lady Hickman and Whichcote were married. She by marriage Lady Hickman of Gainsborough in Lincolnshire.

In 1737 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 45) and Frances Hall Lady Hickman and Whichcote were married. She by marriage Lady Whichcote of the Inner Temple in the City of London.

In 1738 [his son] Christopher Whichcote 4th Baronet was born to Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 46) and [his wife] Frances Hall Lady Hickman and Whichcote.

On 27 Oct 1775 Francis Whichcote 3rd Baronet (age 83) died. His son [his son] Christopher (age 37) succeeded 4th Baronet Whichcote of the Inner Temple in the City of London.
