Biography of Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford 1732-1792

In 1728 [his father] Francis North 1st Earl Guildford (age 23) and [his mother] Lucy Montagu Baroness Guildford were married. She the daughter of [his grandfather] George Montagu 1st Earl Halifax (age 44) and [his grandmother] Ricarda Posthuma Saltonstale. They were fourth cousins.

On 13th April 1732 Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford was born to [his father] Francis North 1st Earl Guildford (age 28) and [his mother] Lucy Montagu Baroness Guildford.

In 1734 [his mother] Lucy Montagu Baroness Guildford died.

On 11th September 1757 [his son] George Augustus North 3rd Earl Guildford was born to Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford (age 25) and [his wife] Anne Speke Countess Guilford (age 17). On 16th February 1760 [his daughter] Anne North Countess Sheffield was born to Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford (age 27) and [his wife] Anne Speke Countess Guilford (age 20). She married 20th January 1798 John Baker Holroyd 1st Earl Sheffield and had issue.

On 8th October 1761 [his brother-in-law] John Peyto Verney 22nd Baron Latimer 14th Baron Willoughby (age 23) and [his half-sister] Louisa North Baroness Latimer Baroness Willoughby of Broke (age 24) were married. On 4th August 1790 [his father] Francis North 1st Earl Guildford (age 86) died. His son Frederick (age 58) succeeded 2nd Earl Guildford, 8th Baron North, 4th Baron Guildford. [his wife] Anne Speke Countess Guilford (age 50) by marriage Countess Guildford.

On 17th January 1797 [his former wife] Anne Speke Countess Guilford (age 57) died.

[his daughter] Charlotte North was born to Frederick North 2nd Earl Guildford and Anne Speke Countess Guilford. She married before 6th March 1826 John Lindsay, son of James Lindsay 5th Earl Balcarres and Anne Dalrymple Countess Balcarres.
