In 1584 [his half-brother] Henry Scrope 9th Baron Scrope of Bolton (age 50) was appointed 368th Knight of the Garter by Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland (age 50).

On 13th June 1592 [his half-brother] Henry Scrope 9th Baron Scrope of Bolton (age 58) died at Carlisle, Cumberland [Map]. His son [his nephew] Thomas (age 25) succeeded 10th Baron Scrope of Bolton. Philadelphia Carey Baroness Scrope Bolton by marriage Baroness Scrope of Bolton.

In 1598 [his mother] Catherine Clifford Baroness Scrope Bolton (age 85) died at Whitby.

Before 1604 [his son-in-law] Thomas Belasyse 1st Viscount Fauconberg (age 26) and [his daughter] Barbara Cholmley (age 28) were married. They were half fourth cousins.

In January 1616 Henry Cholmley (age 60) died.

On 15th April 1628 [his former wife] Margaret Babthorpe (age 70) died.
