Biography of Henry Ferrers -1100

Henry Ferrers was born at Ferrières.

Before 1060 Henry Ferrers and Bertha Aigle (age 19) were married.

On 9th July 1062 [his son] Robert Ferrers 1st Earl of Derby was born to Henry Ferrers and [his wife] Bertha Aigle (age 22) at Tutbury, Staffordshire.

Around 1080 Henry Ferrers founded Tutbury Priory [Map].

Before 1096 [his son] Robert Ferrers 1st Earl of Derby (age 33) and [his daughter-in-law] Hawise de Vitre Countess Derby (age 26) were married.

Before 1100 Henry Ferrers was captured by Hugh Grandesmil.

Before 1100 Henry Ferrers died. He was buried at Tutbury Priory [Map].

[his son] William Ferrers was born to Henry Ferrers and Bertha Aigle.
