Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes
Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut. It survives in a manuscript that describes local and regional history from about 1253 to 1366, blending chronology, narrative episodes, and eyewitness-style accounts of political, military, and social events in medieval France, Flanders, and the Low Countries. On 12th January 1851 [his grandfather] Henry Pelham-Clinton 4th Duke Newcastle-under-Lyne [aged 65] died. His son [his father] Henry [aged 39] succeeded 5th Duke Newcastle under Lyme, 12th Earl Lincoln. Susan Harriet Catherine Hamilton Duchess Newcastle under Lyne: On 9th June 1814 she was born to Alexander Hamilton 10th Duke Hamilton 7th Duke Brandon and Susanna Euphemia Beckford Duchess Hamilton Duchess Brandon. On 27th November 1832 Henry Pelham-Clinton 5th Duke Newcastle-under-Lyne and she were married. She the daughter of Alexander Hamilton 10th Duke Hamilton 7th Duke Brandon and Susanna Euphemia Beckford Duchess Hamilton Duchess Brandon. He the son of Henry Pelham-Clinton 4th Duke Newcastle-under-Lyne and Georgiana Elizabeth Mundy Duchess Newcastle under Lyne. On 28th November 1889 Susan Harriet Catherine Hamilton Duchess Newcastle under Lyne died.
In 1857 Henry Pelham Alexander Pelham-Clinton 6th Duke Newcastle-under-Lyne [aged 22] was elected MP Newark.

She married before 28th October 1882 Cecil Lister-Kaye 4th Baronet and had issue.

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.
