In November 1785 [his father] John Lumley-Savile 7th Earl Scarborough (age 24) and [his mother] Anna Maria Herring Viscountess Lumley were married. He the son of [his grandfather] Richard Lumley-Saunderson 4th Earl Scarborough and [his grandmother] Barbara Savile Countess Scarborough.
On 18th July 1788 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough was born to [his father] John Lumley-Savile 7th Earl Scarborough (age 27) and [his mother] Anna Maria Herring Viscountess Lumley.
Around 1800 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 11) educated at St John's College, Cambridge University [Map].
On 6th January 1818 [his illegitimate son] John Savile 1st Baron Savile was born illegitimately to John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 29).
On 15th March 1819 [his illegitimate son] Reverend Frederick Savile-Lumley was born illegitimately to John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 30).
In 1826 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 37) was elected MP Nottinghamshire.
In 1832 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 43) was elected MP Nottinghamshire North.
Anne Boleyn. Her Life as told by Lancelot de Carle's 1536 Letter.
In 1536, two weeks after the execution of Anne Boleyn, her brother George and four others, Lancelot du Carle, wrote an extraordinary letter that described Anne's life, and her trial and execution, to which he was a witness. This book presents a new translation of that letter, with additional material from other contemporary sources such as Letters, Hall's and Wriothesley's Chronicles, the pamphlets of Wynkyn the Worde, the Memorial of George Constantyne, the Portuguese Letter and the Baga de Secrets, all of which are provided in Appendices.

On 17th June 1832 [his uncle] Richard Lumley-Saunderson 6th Earl Scarborough (age 75) died. His brother [his father] John (age 71) succeeded 7th Earl of Scarborough, 8th Viscount Lumley, 7th Baron Lumley. [his mother] Anna Maria Herring Viscountess Lumley by marriage Viscountess Lumley.
On 21st February 1835 [his father] John Lumley-Savile 7th Earl Scarborough (age 74) died. His son John (age 46) succeeded 8th Earl of Scarborough, 9th Viscount Lumley, 8th Baron Lumley.
In 1839 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 50) was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire.
On 29th May 1849 [his illegitimate son] Reverend Frederick Savile-Lumley (age 30) and [his daughter-in-law] Mary Jenkins were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. He the illegitmate son of John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 60).
In 1850 [his mother] Anna Maria Herring Viscountess Lumley died.
On 29th October 1856 John Lumley-Savile 8th Earl Scarborough (age 68) died. His first cousin once removed Richard (age 43) succeeded 9th Earl of Scarborough, 10th Viscount Lumley, 9th Baron Lumley.
