In or before 1590 [his father] William Skeffington 1st Baronet and [his mother] Elizabeth Dering (age 18) were married.
In 1590 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet was born to William Skeffington 1st Baronet and Elizabeth Dering (age 18).
In 1626 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet (age 36) was elected MP Newcastle under Lyme.
On 16th February 1635 [his mother] Elizabeth Dering (age 63) died.
On or before 16th September 1635 [his father] William Skeffington 1st Baronet died. He was buried at St Michael on Greenhill Church, Lichfield on 16th September 1635. His son John (age 45) succeeded 2nd Baronet Skeffington of Fisherwick in Staffordshire.
In 1637 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet (age 47) was appointed High Sheriff of Staffordshire.
In November 1650 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet (age 60) was fined £1,152 for supporing the Royalist cause. The fine was later reduced to £961.
Before 19th November 1651 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet (age 61) and Cicely Skeffington were married.
On 19th November 1651 John Skeffington 2nd Baronet (age 61) died. He was buried at the Church of St Thomas Becket, Skeffington [Map] on 20th November 1651. His son [his son] William succeeded 3rd Baronet Skeffington of Fisherwick in Staffordshire.
[his son] William Skeffington 3rd Baronet was born to John Skeffington 2nd Baronet and Cicely Skeffington.
