She the daughter of [his grandfather] Armar Lowry-Corry 1st Earl Belmore and [his grandmother] Harriet Hobart Viscountess Belmore (age 42). He the son of [his grandfather] John Montagu 5th Earl Sandwich (age 60) and [his grandmother] Maria Henrietta Powlett.
On 8th November 1811 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich was born to George Montagu 6th Earl Sandwich (age 38) and Louisa Lowry-Corry Countess of Sandwich (age 30). He was educated at Eton College [Map].
On 21st May 1818 [his father] George Montagu 6th Earl Sandwich (age 45) died. He was buried at All Saints Church, Barnwell [Map]. His son John (age 6) succeeded 7th Earl Sandwich.
In October 1829, Michaelmas Term, John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 17) matriculated Trinity College, Cambridge University [Map].
On 5th July 1831 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 19) played for the Cambridge University cricket team against Cambridge Town; he scored two runs.
In 1832 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 20) was commissioned Ensign in the Grenadier Guards.

On 6th September 1838 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 26) and Mary Paget Countess Sandwich (age 26) were married. She by marriage Countess Sandwich. She the daughter of Henry William Paget 1st Marquess Anglesey (age 70) and Charlotte Cadogan Marchioness Anglesey (age 57). He the son of George Montagu 6th Earl Sandwich and Louisa Lowry-Corry Countess of Sandwich (age 57).
On 13th July 1839 [his son] Edward Montagu 8th Earl Sandwich was born to John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 27) and [his wife] Mary Paget Countess Sandwich (age 27).
In 1841 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 29) was appointed Lord Lieutenant of Huntingdonshire which office he held for life.
On 20th April 1841 [his son] Rear-Admiral Victor Alexander Montagu was born to John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 29) and [his wife] Mary Paget Countess Sandwich (age 28).

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

In 1865 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 53) and Blanche Leveson-Gower aka Egerton Countess Sandwich (age 32) were married. She by marriage Countess Sandwich. The difference in their ages was 20 years. She the daughter of Francis Leveson Gower aka Egerton 1st Earl Ellesmere and Harriet Greville Countess Ellesmere (age 62). He the son of George Montagu 6th Earl Sandwich and Louisa Lowry-Corry Countess of Sandwich. They were fifth cousins.
On 30th May 1870 [his son-in-law] William Hart Dyke 7th Baronet (age 32) and [his daughter] Emily Caroline Montagu Lady Dyke (age 24) were married. She the daughter of John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 58) and [his former wife] Mary Paget Countess Sandwich.
On 3rd March 1884 John William Montagu 7th Earl Sandwich (age 72) died. He was buried at All Saints Church, Barnwell [Map] on 16th June 1884 at which time the Montagu vault was closed. His son [his son] Edward (age 44) succeeded 8th Earl Sandwich.
