She by marriage Marchioness Townshend. She the daughter of [his grandfather] James Duff 5th Earl Fife (age 51) and [his grandmother] Agnes Georgiana Elizabeth Hay Countess Fife (age 36). He the son of [his grandfather] John Townshend 4th Marquess Townshend and [his grandmother] Elizabeth Jane Stuart (age 62).
On 17th October 1866 John Townshend 6th Marquess Townshend was born to [his father] John Villiers Stuart Townshend 5th Marquess Townshend (age 35) and [his mother] Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff Marchioness Townshend (age 19). He a great x 2 grandson of King William IV of the United Kingdom.

On 6th October 1899 [his father] John Villiers Stuart Townshend 5th Marquess Townshend (age 68) died at his home in Laverstock, Wiltshire [Map]. His son John (age 32) succeeded 6th Marquess Townshend, 9th Viscount Townsend, 9th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis in Norfolk, 11th Baronet Townshend.
On 9th August 1905 John Townshend 6th Marquess Townshend (age 38) and Gwladys Sutherst Marchioness Townshend (age 21) were married at St Martin in the Fields Church [Map]. She by marriage Marchioness Townshend. He the son of John Villiers Stuart Townshend 5th Marquess Townshend and Anne Elizabeth Clementina Duff Marchioness Townshend (age 57).
In July 1906 Thomas Sutherst instigated an inquiry into the mental health of his son-in-law John Townshend 6th Marquess Townshend (age 39), ascertaining that, due to his insanity, he was no longer able to look after his own financial affairs. The inquiry proved a sensation, with lurid accounts of the removal of Lord Townshend physically from the influence of Robins by effectively kidnapping him. After two weeks of evidence and cross-examination the verdict was reached: Lord Townshend, although incapable of managing his financial affairs, was found not to be insane
On 13th May 1916 [his son] George Townshend 7th Marquess Townshend was born to John Townshend 6th Marquess Townshend (age 49) and [his wife] Gwladys Sutherst Marchioness Townshend (age 32). He a great x 3 grandson of King William IV of the United Kingdom. He married (1) 2nd September 1939 Elizabeth Luby Marchioness Townshend and had issue (2) 22nd December 1960 Ann Frances Darlow Marchioness Townshend (3) 2004 Philippa Sophia Kidston-Montgomerie.
On 17th November 1921 John Townshend 6th Marquess Townshend (age 55) died. His son George (age 5) succeeded 7th Marquess Townshend, 10th Viscount Townsend, 10th Baron Townshend of Lynn Regis in Norfolk, 12th Baronet Townshend.
In 1959 [his former wife] Gwladys Sutherst Marchioness Townshend (age 75) died.
