Before 10th March 1629 [his father] William Robinson and [his mother] Frances Metcalfe were married.
On 10th March 1629 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet was born to William Robinson and Frances Metcalfe.
After 1638 [his father] William Robinson and Mary Bamburgh were married.
In 1645 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 15) matriculated at St John's College, Oxford University.
In 1658 [his father] William Robinson died.
In 1660 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 30) was elected MP York.
On 30th July 1660 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 31) was created 1st Baronet Robinson of Newby in Yorkshire.
In 1661 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 31) was elected MP York which seat he held until 1679.
In 1685 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 55) was elected MP York which seat he held until 1689.
On 6th February 1689 Metcalfe Robinson 1st Baronet (age 59) died without issue. Baronet Robinson of Newby in Yorkshire extinct. He was buried at St Columba's Church, Topcliffe [Map] where he has a large monument.
