Biography of Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet 1643-1698

Paternal Family Tree: Crispe

On or after 25th January 1642, the date of the License, [his father] Ellis Crispe (age 23) and [his mother] Anne Strode were married. They were uncle and niece.

In 1643 Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet was born to Ellis Crispe (age 24) and Anne Strode. Coefficient of inbreeding 6.25%.

On 22nd August 1661 Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 18) matriculated at St John's College, Oxford University.

In August 1663 [his father] Ellis Crispe (age 44) died.

On 26th February 1666 [his grandfather] Nicholas Crispe 1st Baronet (age 67) died. He was buried at St Mildred's Church, Bread Street. His grandson Nicholas (age 23) succeeded 2nd Baronet Crispe of Hammersmith in Middlesex.

On 30th April 1674 Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 31) and Judith Adrian Lady Crispe were married. She by marriage Lady Crispe of Hammersmith in Middlesex.

Around 1676 [his son] John Crispe 3rd Baronet was born to Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 33) and [his wife] Judith Adrian Lady Crispe.

Around 1680 [his son] Charles Crispe 5th Baronet was born to Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 37) and [his wife] Judith Adrian Lady Crispe.

In 1683 Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 40) sold the family estates at Hammersmith that had been commissioned by his grandfather [his grandfather] Nicholas Crispe 1st Baronet.

In November 1698 Nicholas Crispe 2nd Baronet (age 55) died. He was buried at St Mildred's Church, Bread Street. His son [his son] John (age 22) succeeded 3rd Baronet Crispe of Hammersmith in Middlesex.

Between 8th February 1699, the date of her will, and 2nd May 1700, the date her will was proved, [his former wife] Judith Adrian Lady Crispe died. She was buried with her husband at St Mildred's Church, Bread Street.
