On 1st August 1905 Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne was born to Mervyn Manningham-Buller 3rd Baronet and Lilah Constance Cavendish.
In 1930 Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne and Mary Lillian Lindsay were married. She the daughter of David Lindsay 27th Earl of Crawford 10th Earl Balcarres and Constance Lilian Pelly Countess Crawford and Balcarres.
On 28th February 1932 [his son] John Manningham-Buller 2nd Viscount Dilhorne was born to Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne and [his wife] Mary Lillian Lindsay.
On 8th March 1940 [his father-in-law] David Lindsay 27th Earl of Crawford 10th Earl Balcarres died. [his brother-in-law] David Lindsay 28th Earl of Crawford 11th Earl Balcarres succeeded 28th Earl Crawford, 11th Earl Balcarres. Mary Katherine Cavendish Countess of Crawford and Balcarres by marriage Countess Crawford, Countess Balcarres.
On 27th April 1944 [his mother] Lilah Constance Cavendish died.
On 14th July 1948 [his daughter] Eliza Manningham-Buller 1st Baroness Manningham-Buller was born to Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne and [his wife] Mary Lillian Lindsay.
On 22nd August 1956 [his father] Mervyn Manningham-Buller 3rd Baronet died. Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne succeeded 4th Baronet Manningham-Buller of Dilhorne in Staffordshire.

The QUEEN has been pleased: by Letters Patent under the Great iSeal of the Realm, bearing date the 17th instant, to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United 'Kingdom, upon Major The Right Honourable Sir Reginald Edward Manmingham-Buller, Baronet, QC, Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style and tide of Baron Dilhorne, of Towcester in the County of Northampton.

The QUEEN has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm, bearing date the 7th day of December 1964, to confer the dignity of a Viscounty of the United Kingdom upon Major the Right Honourable Reginald Edward Baron Dilhorne, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style and title of Viscount Dilhorne, of Greens Norton in the County of Northampton.
On 13th December 1975 [his brother-in-law] David Lindsay 28th Earl of Crawford 11th Earl Balcarres died.
On 7th September 1980 Reginald Manningham-Buller 1st Viscount Dilhorne died. [his son] John Manningham-Buller 2nd Viscount Dilhorne succeeded 2nd Viscount Dilhorne of Greens Northon in Northamptonshire, 2nd Baron Dilhorne of Towcester in Northamptonshire, 5th Baronet Manningham-Buller of Dilhorne in Staffordshire.
In 2004 [his former wife] Mary Lillian Lindsay died.
