On 30th November 1769 [his father] Admiral Richard King 1st Baronet (age 39) and [his mother] Susanna Margaretta Coker (age 24) were married at Wimborne Minster, Dorset [Map].
On 28th November 1774 Richard King 2nd Baronet was born to Admiral Richard King 1st Baronet (age 44) and Susanna Margaretta Coker (age 29).
The action of 24 October 1798 was a minor naval engagement of the French Revolutionary Wars. Two Dutch ships were intercepted in the North Sea within hours of leaving port, 56 km northwest of the Texel, by the British ship HMS Sirius captained by Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 23). Both Dutch vessels were carrying large quantities of military supplies and French soldiers, reinforcements for the French and Irish forces participating in the Irish Rebellion of 1798.
In 1801 Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 26) captured a French frigate, and was rewarded with command of the large 74 gun ship of the line HMS Achille.
On 30th November 1803 Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 29) and Sarah Anne Duckworth Lady King (age 19) were married. They had four sons and a daughter.
On 12th September 1804 [his son] Richard Duckworth-King 3rd Baronet was born to Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 29) and [his wife] Sarah Anne Duckworth Lady King (age 20).
On 21st October 1805 Admiral Henry Digby (age 35) commanded Africa at Cape Trafalgar during the Battle of Trafalgar.
Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 30) captained HMS Achille, the seventh ship in Collingwood's division. Achille was heavily engaged, chasing off the Spanish Montanez and the battling alongside HMS Belleisle with the Argonauta. Whilst chasing this ship through the melee, Achille was cut off by her namesake, the French Achille, with whom she began a savage cannonade until joined by the French ship Berwick, whom Achille turned her attention on.

On 7th November 1806 [his father] Admiral Richard King 1st Baronet (age 76) died. His son Richard (age 31) succeeded 2nd Baronet King of Bellevue in Kent. [his wife] Sarah Anne Duckworth Lady King (age 22) by marriage Lady Queen of Bellevue in Kent.
On 15th July 1809 [his son] George St Vincent Duckworth-King 4th Baronet was born to Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 34) and [his wife] Sarah Anne Duckworth Lady King (age 24).
On 20th March 1819 [his wife] Sarah Anne Duckworth Lady King (age 34) died.
On 16th May 1822 Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 47) and Maria Susanna Cotton Lady King were married. She by marriage Lady Queen of Bellevue in Kent. They had four sons and three daughters.
On 5th August 1834 Richard King 2nd Baronet (age 59) died of cholera at Sheerness Isle of Sheppey [Map]. His son [his son] Richard (age 29) succeeded 3rd Baronet King of Bellevue in Kent.
On 8th January 1871 [his former wife] Maria Susanna Cotton Lady King died.
[his daughter] Maria Philadelphia Cotton was born to Richard King 2nd Baronet and Maria Susanna Cotton Lady King.
