On 20th March 1776 Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos was born to [his father] George Nugent Temple Grenville 1st Marquess Buckingham (age 22) and [his mother] Mary Elizabeth Nugent Marchioness Buckingham (age 18).
On 12th September 1779 Richard Grenville-Temple 2nd Earl Temple (age 67) died in a carriage accident without surviving issue. His nephew [his father] George (age 26) succeeded 3rd Earl Temple, 4th Viscount Cobham.
In December 1784 [his father] George Nugent Temple Grenville 1st Marquess Buckingham (age 31) was created 1st Marquess Buckingham.
On 13th October 1788 [his grandfather] Robert Nugent 1st Earl Nugent (age 79) died. [his father] George Nugent Temple Grenville 1st Marquess Buckingham (age 35) succeeded 2nd Earl Nugent. Viscount Clare, Baron Nugent extinct.
In April 1796 Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (age 20) and Anne Elizabeth Brydges Duchess Buckingham and Chandos (age 17) were married. She the daughter of James Brydges 3rd Duke Chandos and Anne Eliza Gamon Duchess Chandos (age 59). He the son of George Nugent Temple Grenville 1st Marquess Buckingham (age 42) and Mary Elizabeth Nugent Marchioness Buckingham (age 38). They were sixth cousins.
On 11th February 1797 [his son] Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 2nd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos was born to Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (age 20) and [his wife] Anne Elizabeth Brydges Duchess Buckingham and Chandos (age 18) at Stowe House, Buckinghamshire. He married (1) 1819 Mary Campbell Duchess Buckingham and Chandos, daughter of John Campbell 1st Marquess Breadalbane, and had issue.

In 1820 Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (age 43) was appointed 653rd Knight of the Garter by King George IV of Great Britain and Ireland (age 57).
In 1822 Richard Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos (age 45) was created 1st Duke of Buckingham and Chandos, 1st Marquess of Chandos, 1st Earl Temple of Stowe. The latter title, Earl Temple of Stowe, was created with remainder to his granddaughter Anna Eliza Mary Temple-Nugent-Brydges-Chandos-Grenville (age 1). Anne Elizabeth Brydges Duchess Buckingham and Chandos (age 43) by marriage Duchess of Buckingham and Chandos.
In 1836 [his wife] Anne Elizabeth Brydges Duchess Buckingham and Chandos (age 57) died.
