Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes
Récits d’un bourgeois de Valenciennes aka The Chronicle of a Bourgeois of Valenciennes is a vivid 14th-century vernacular chronicle written by an anonymous urban chronicler from Valenciennes in the County of Hainaut. It survives in a manuscript that describes local and regional history from about 1253 to 1366, blending chronology, narrative episodes, and eyewitness-style accounts of political, military, and social events in medieval France, Flanders, and the Low Countries. The work begins with a chronological framework of events affecting Valenciennes and its region under rulers such as King Philip VI of France and the shifting allegiances of local nobility. In 1757 [his father] Henry Cavendish 2nd Baronet (age 24) and [his mother] Sarah Bradshaw 1st Baroness Waterpark (age 16) were married. They had eight children.
On 13th July 1765 Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark was born to [his father] Henry Cavendish 2nd Baronet (age 32) and [his mother] Sarah Bradshaw 1st Baroness Waterpark (age 24).
On 31st May 1776 [his grandfather] Henry Cavendish 1st Baronet (age 69) died. His son [his father] Henry (age 43) succeeded 2nd Baronet Cavendish of Doveridge Hall.
On 6th August 1789 Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 24) and Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 22) were married. They had nine children.
In 1790 Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 24) was elected MP Portarlington which seat he held until 1797.
On 15th June 1792 [his mother] Sarah Bradshaw 1st Baroness Waterpark (age 51) was created 1st Baroness Waterpark.
On 8th November 1793 [his son] Henry Cavendish 3rd Baron Waterpark was born to Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 28) and [his wife] Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 26). He married 1837 Elizabeth Jane Anson Baroness Waterpark, daughter of Thomas Anson 1st Viscount Anson and Anne Margaret Coke Viscountess Anson, and had issue.
On 23rd December 1794 [his son] Richard Cavendish was born to Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 29) and [his wife] Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 27).
In 1796 [his son] Vice-Admiral George John Cavendish was born to Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 30) and [his wife] Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 29).
On 3rd August 1804 [his father] Henry Cavendish 2nd Baronet (age 71) died. His son Richard (age 39) succeeded 3rd Baronet Cavendish of Doveridge Hall. [his wife] Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 37) by marriage Lady Cavendish of Doveridge Hall.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Before 1st June 1830 Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 64) was elected Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
On 1st June 1830 Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark (age 64) died. His son Henry (age 36) succeeded 3rd Baron Waterpark, 4th Baronet Cavendish of Doveridge Hall.
On 11th October 1847 [his former wife] Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark (age 80) died.
[his son] Reverend Thomas Cavendish was born to Richard Cavendish 2nd Baron Waterpark and Juliana Cooper Baroness Waterpark. He married 4th May 1835 Sophia Robinson.
