The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 1452 Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer was born to [his father] John Willoughby 8th Baron Latimer of Corby (age 31) and [his mother] Anne Cheney (age 23) at Broke Westbury, Wiltshire.
On 10th June 1470 [his mother] Anne Cheney (age 41) died.
In 1472 Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 20) and Blanche Champernowne (age 20) were married.
In 1472 [his son] Robert Willoughby 2nd Baron Willoughby 10th Baron Latimer was born to Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 20) and [his wife] Blanche Champernowne (age 20). He married (1) before 28th February 1495 his fourth cousin once removed Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Willoughby of Broke, daughter of Richard Beauchamp 2nd Baron Beauchamp Powick and Elizabeth Stafford, and had issue (2) 1509 his half fourth cousin Dorothy Grey Baroness Mountjoy, Willoughby and Latimer, daughter of Thomas Grey 1st Marquess Dorset and Cecily Bonville Marchioness Dorset, and had issue.
On 28th August 1477 [his father] John Willoughby 8th Baron Latimer of Corby (age 56) died. His son Robert (age 25) de jure 9th Baron Latimer of Corby.
Before 12th December 1480 [his wife] Blanche Champernowne (age 28) died.
Around November 1483 Thomas Grey 1st Marquess Dorset (age 28) and Eleanor Bohun Countess Ormonde escaped to Henry VII in Brittany [Map]. Walter Hungerford (age 19), Giles Daubeney 1st Baron Daubeney (age 32) and Edward Courtenay 1st Earl Devon (age 24) took part. The rebellion was suppressed by Richard Guildford (age 33) and Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 31).

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." By reason of which proclamacion, a great nombre that came out of diverse sanctuaries and privileged places obteyned grace, forgetting clerely the diversite of faccions & voyce of partakyng. After this he began to remembre his es- peciall frendes & fautours, of whome sone he anaunced to honoure & dignite, & some he enriched with possessions & goodes, every ma according to his desert & merite. And to begvnne, laspar (age 53) his vncle Erle of Penbrooke, he created duke of Bedforde, Thomas lorde Stanley (age 50) he promoted to be erle of Darby, & lord Chandew of Briteine his especiall frende he made erle of Bathe, Sir Gyles Dawbeney (age 34) was made lorde Dawbeney, Sir Robert Willoughby (age 33) was made lord Brooke which be in their degree barons and peeres of the realme. And Edward Stafford (age 7) eldest son to Henry late duke of Buckingham, he restored to his name dignitie and possessions, which kyng Richard did confiscate and attaynted. Around 1489 Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 37) was appointed 238th Knight of the Garter by King Henry VII of England and Ireland (age 31).
In 1492 Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 40) was created 1st Baron Willoughby Broke.
Before 28th February 1495 [his son] Robert Willoughby 2nd Baron Willoughby 10th Baron Latimer (age 23) and [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Willoughby of Broke (age 27) were married. They were fourth cousin once removed.
After 1501 [his son-in-law] William Fitzalan 11th or 18th Earl of Arundel (age 25) and [his daughter] Elizabeth Willoughby Baroness Dynham were married. He the son of Thomas Fitzalan 10th or 17th Earl of Arundel (age 51) and Margaret Woodville Countess Arundel. They were half fourth cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England.
The Receyt of the Ladie Kateryne Book 1 Chapter 2. And furste the Lorde Broke (age 49), Stuard of the Kinges howse, was by th' assignement of the King's Grace directed and sent to th' entent to purvey and provyde for the Princesse (age 15) and her retynue in their journey and passage, as well for their viand, horses, and cariage as every other necessité, and right convenyently he did. After that, th' erl off Surrey, with divers other Lords temperall of the lond,, ensuyd unto the metyng and attendaunce of thys whorthy Estate and Princesse; and after them, the Duches of Norff. (age 24), by a like assent and will of the King, with a goodly companye with her off Countesses, Baroness, & meny other honorable gentylwomen, repaired unto this noble Princesse, and there at her suche metyng had, she kept forth on her contynuall company and waiting.
On 23rd August 1502 Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer (age 50) died. His son Robert (age 30) succeeded 2nd Baron Willoughby Broke, 10th Baron Latimer of Corby. [his daughter-in-law] Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Willoughby of Broke (age 34) by marriage Baroness Willoughby Broke, Baroness Latimer of Corby.
[his son] John Willoughby was born to Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer and Blanche Champernowne.
[his son] Anthony Willoughby was born to Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer and Blanche Champernowne.
[his daughter] Elizabeth Willoughby Baroness Dynham was born to Robert Willoughby 1st Baron Willoughby 9th Baron Latimer and Blanche Champernowne.
