In 1426 Robert Wingfield (age 23) was knighted by King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 4) at Hereford [Map].
On 19th May 1426, Whitsunday, King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 4) was knighted by his uncles John Lancaster 1st Duke Bedford (age 36) and Humphrey Lancaster 1st Duke Gloucester (age 35) at Leicester, Leicestershire [Map]. Henry then went on to knight Ralph Longford (age 25), Thomas Courtenay 5th or 13th Earl Devon (age 12) and Robert Wingfield (age 23).

Around 1434 [his son] Henry Wingfield was born to Robert Wingfield (age 31) and [his wife] Elizabeth Goushill (age 32) in Letheringham, Suffolk. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward I of England.
In 1444 [his daughter] Catherine Wingfield was born to Robert Wingfield (age 41) and [his wife] Elizabeth Goushill (age 42). She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward I of England. She married John Bonville of Shute and had issue.
In December 1447 Robert Wingfield (age 44) was imprisoned for rioting at Marshalsea Prison [Map].
In 1448 Robert Wingfield (age 45) was pardoned as MP Hertfordshire.
In 1454 [his daughter] Margaret Wingfield died.
On 21st November 1454 Robert Wingfield (age 51) died at Letheringham, Suffolk.
