The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 25th August 1857 Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry was born to Edmund George Petre (age 28).
On 18th February 1886 William Henry Hare Hedges-White 4th Earl Bantry (age 32) and Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry (age 28) were married. She by marriage Countess Bantry. He the son of William Henry Hare Hedges-White 3rd Earl Bantry.
On 1st September 1889 [her father] Edmund George Petre (age 60) died.
In 1891 [her husband] William Henry Hare Hedges-White 4th Earl Bantry (age 37) died without issue. Earl Bantry extinct.
On 30th August 1893 [her future husband] Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor (age 40) and Annie Mary Eleanor Fraser (age 36) were married.
On 7th December 1897 Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor (age 45) and Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry (age 40) were married.
In 1899 [her daughter] Mary Rosamund "Moyra" Hill-Trevor was born to [her husband] Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor (age 46) and Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry (age 41).
In 1904 [her daughter] Mary Rosamund "Moyra" Hill-Trevor (age 5) died.
1906. The Trevor Mausloem, St Mary's Church, Chirk [Map] was erected to mark the loss of [her daughter] Mary Rosamund "Moyra" Hill-Trevor daughter of [her husband] Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor (age 53) and Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry (age 48) aged five years.

Mary Rosamund "Moyra" Hill-Trevor: In 1899 she was born to Arthur William Hill-Trevor 2nd Baron Trevor and Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry. In 1904 Mary Rosamund "Moyra" Hill-Trevor died.

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 5th February 1942 Rosamund Catherine Petre Countess Bantry (age 84) died.
