Biography of Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet 1785-1849

On 28 Apr 1783 [his father] Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 30) and [his mother] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 24) were married.

On 01 Sep 1785 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet was born to Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 32) and Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 26).

In 1796 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 10) joined the Navy. He distinguished himself in 1809 in the capture of a forty-gun French frigate; was at the reduction of Martinique, 1810, and in various other actions.

On 18 Jun 1826 [his father] Thomas Brooke-Pechell 2nd Baronet (age 73) died. His son Samuel (age 40) succeeded 3rd Baronet Brooke-Pechell of Paglesham in Essex.

In 1830 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 44) was elected MP Helston which seat he held until 1831.

In 1832 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 46) was elected MP Windsor which seat he held until 1835.

On 15 Apr 1833 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 47) and Julia Maria Petre Lady Brooke-Pechell (age 43) were married at her mother's (age 63) house in Grosvenor Square, Belgravia. She by marriage Lady Brooke-Pechell of Paglesham in Essex. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Charles II of England Scotland and Ireland.

On 23 Oct 1841 [his mother] Charlotte Clavering Lady Pechell (age 82) died at Hampton Court Palace, Richmond [Map].

On 06 Sep 1844 [his wife] Julia Maria Petre Lady Brooke-Pechell (age 54) died at Hill Street, Berkeley Square.

On 09 Nov 1846 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 61) was promoted to Rear-Admiral.

On 03 Nov 1849 Samuel John Brooke-Pechell 3rd Baronet (age 64) died without issue at Hill Street, Berkeley Square. His brother [his brother] George (age 60) succeeded 4th Baronet Brooke-Pechell of Pagelsham in Essex.
