Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

In 1687 John Coventry 4th Baron Coventry (age 33) died. His uncle Thomas (age 58) succeeded 5th Baron Coventry.

She the daughter of Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort (age 62) and Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort (age 60). On 30 Nov 1694 [his son] Gilbert Coventry 4th Earl Coventry (age 26) and [his daughter-in-law] Dorothy Keyt (age 23) were married. He the son of Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry (age 65) and [his former wife] Winifred Edgecumbe.

On 16 Jul 1695 Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry (age 66) and Elizabeth Grimes Countess Coventry (age 25) were married. The difference in their ages was 41 years.

In 1697 Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry (age 68) was created 1st Earl Coventry with a special remainder to issue of Walter Coventry brother to the [his grandfather] 1st Baron Coventry. [his wife] Elizabeth Grimes Countess Coventry (age 27) by marriage Countess Coventry.

On 15 Jul 1699 Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry (age 70) died. His son [his son] Thomas (age 37) succeeded 2nd Earl Coventry, 6th Baron Coventry. [his daughter-in-law] Anne Somerset Countess Coventry (age 25) by marriage Countess Coventry. He was buried in St Mary Magdalene's Church, Croome D'Abitot [Map].

Monument in St Mary the Virgin Church, Elmley [Map]. The Monument was commissioned by his [his wife] second wife (age 29) but rejected by his son. She was, apparently, somewhat imaginative in describing her provenance to the point that the second Earl, son of the first Earl's first wife, refused to have the monument erected over his father's remains.

High quality. Monument including a white marble figure elbow reclining on a deep chest in front of a lengthy inscription and under an arch crowned with armorial bearings. Large sub-figures flank the chest and the armorial bearings. Earl's coronet. Signed by William Stanton (age 60). Powdered Wig. Heeled Shoes. Buckled Shoes.

Thomas Coventry 2nd Earl Coventry: Around 1662 he was born to Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry and Winifred Edgecumbe. In 1691 Thomas Coventry 2nd Earl Coventry and Anne Somerset Countess Coventry were married. She the daughter of Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort and Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort. He the son of Thomas Coventry 1st Earl Coventry and Winifred Edgecumbe. In Aug 1710 Thomas Coventry 2nd Earl Coventry died. His son Thomas succeeded 3rd Earl Coventry, 7th Baron Coventry.

Anne Somerset Countess Coventry: On 22 Jul 1673 she was born to Henry Somerset 1st Duke Beaufort and Mary Capell Duchess Beaufort. On 14 Feb 1763 Anne Somerset Countess Coventry died at Snitterfield, Warwickshire.

Mary Glanville: she was born to John Glanville. In 1636 Colonel Piers Edgecumbe and she were married at St Dunstan's in the West, Fleet Street [Map].

In 1700 Thomas Savage (age 27) and [his former wife] Elizabeth Grimes Countess Coventry (age 30) were married.
