Paternal Family Tree: Walpole
On 21st July 1720 [his father] Horatio Walpole 1st Baron Walpole (age 41) and [his mother] Mary Magdalen Lombard (age 25) were married.
On 25th October 1727 Thomas Walpole was born to Horatio Walpole 1st Baron Walpole (age 48) and Mary Magdalen Lombard (age 32).

In 1753 Thomas Walpole (age 25) was appointed Director of the East India Company which position he held until 1754.
On 14th November 1753 Thomas Walpole (age 26) and Elizabeth Vanneck (age 21) were married. She the daughter of his business partner Joshua Vanneck 1st Baronet (age 52). A Marriage of Two Sets of Siblings; her sister Margaret Vanneck (age 10) had married his brother Richard Walpole (age 25).
In 1754 Thomas Walpole (age 26) was elected MP Sudbury which seat he held until 1761.
On 23rd May 1755 [his son] Thomas Walpole was born to Thomas Walpole (age 27) and [his wife] Elizabeth Vanneck (age 23).
On 5th February 1757 [his father] Horatio Walpole 1st Baron Walpole (age 78) died at Wickmere, Norfolk. His son [his brother] Horatio (age 33) succeeded 2nd Baron Walpole of Wollerton.
On 9th June 1760 [his wife] Elizabeth Vanneck (age 28) died. She was buried in the Church of St Andrew, Wickmere [Map] on 17th June 1760.
In 1761 Thomas Walpole (age 33) was elected MP Ashburton which seat he held until 1768.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. Hamilton, in his preface, says: "In the present work we behold perhaps one of the finest samples of our early chronicles, both as regards the value of the events recorded, and the correctness with which they are detailed; Nor will the pleasing style of composition be lightly passed over by those capable of seeing reflected from it the tokens of a vigorous and cultivated mind, and a favourable specimen of the learning and taste of the age in which it was framed." In 1768 Thomas Walpole (age 40) was elected MP Lynn which seat he held until 1784.
In 1783 [his mother] Mary Magdalen Lombard (age 88) died.
In 1787 Thomas Walpole (age 59) and Jeanne-Marguerite Batailhe de Montval were married.
Before 17th August 1798 [his brother] Richard Walpole (age 70) and [his former sister-in-law] Margaret Vanneck (age 55) were married. A Marriage of Two Sets of Siblings; her sister [his former wife] Elizabeth Vanneck had married his brother Thomas Walpole (age 70).
On 1st December 1803 Thomas Walpole (age 76) died.
