On 18th February 1868 [his father] Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp (age 37) and [his step-mother] Emily Annora Charlotte Pierrepont Countess Beauchamp (age 14) were married. She by marriage Countess Beauchamp. The difference in their ages was 22 years. She the daughter of Sydney William Herbert Pierrepont 3rd Earl Manvers (age 43). He the son of [his grandfather] Henry Beauchamp Lygon 4th Earl Beauchamp and [his grandmother] Susan Caroline Eliot. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 18th February 1868 [his father] Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp (age 37) and [his mother] Mary Catherine Stanhope Countess Beauchamp (age 24) were married. She by marriage Countess Beauchamp. She the daughter of [his grandfather] Philip Stanhope 5th Earl Stanhope (age 63) and [his grandmother] Emily Harriet Countess Stanhope. He the son of [his grandfather] Henry Beauchamp Lygon 4th Earl Beauchamp and [his grandmother] Susan Caroline Eliot.

On 20th February 1872 William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp was born to Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp (age 41) and Mary Catherine Stanhope Countess Beauchamp (age 28).

On 30th June 1876 [his mother] Mary Catherine Stanhope Countess Beauchamp (age 32) died.

On 19th February 1891 [his father] Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp (age 60) died. His son William (age 18) succeeded 7th Earl Beauchamp, 7th Viscount Elmley of Worcestershire, 7th Baron Beauchamp Powick in Worcestershire.

On 1902 William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 29) and Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 25) were married. She by marriage Countess Beauchamp. He the son of Frederick Lygon 6th Earl Beauchamp and Mary Catherine Stanhope Countess Beauchamp. They were half third cousin once removed.

On 3rd July 1903 [his son] William Lygon 8th Earl Beauchamp was born to William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 31) and [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 26).

On 2nd November 1904 [his son] Hugh Patrick Lygon was born to William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 32) and [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 27).

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 26th November 1920 [his brother-in-law] Hugh Richard Arthur "Bendor" Grosvenor 2nd Duke Westminster (age 41) and Violet Mary Nelson Duchess Westminster (age 29) were married.

In 1926 [his brother-in-law] Hugh Richard Arthur "Bendor" Grosvenor 2nd Duke Westminster (age 46) and Violet Mary Nelson Duchess Westminster (age 35) were divorced.

On 20th February 1930 [his brother-in-law] Hugh Richard Arthur "Bendor" Grosvenor 2nd Duke Westminster (age 50) and Loelia Mary Ponsonby Duchess Westminster (age 28) were married. She by marriage Duchess Westminster. His third marriage; her first. Winston Churchill (age 55) was best man. They were married until 1947 when the marriage was dissolved. No issue. The difference in their ages was 22 years. They were fourth cousin once removed.

On 16th June 1930 [his son-in-law] Richard Charles Geers Cotterell 5th Baronet (age 23) and [his daughter] Lettice Lygon (age 24) were married. She the daughter of William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 58) and [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 53). They were sixth cousins.

On 26th July 1936 [his wife] Lettice Mary Elizabeth Grosvenor Countess Beauchamp (age 59) died estranged from all her children except her youngest [his son] Richard Edward Lygon (age 19).

On 19th August 1936 [his son] Hugh Patrick Lygon (age 31) died.

On 14th November 1938 William Lygon 7th Earl Beauchamp (age 66) died at New York. His son [his son] William (age 35) succeeded 8th Earl Beauchamp, 8th Viscount Elmley of Worcestershire, 8th Baron Beauchamp Powick in Worcestershire.
