On 27th June 1601 Henry Norreys 1st Baron Norreys of Rycote (age 76) died at Rycote, Oxfordshire [Map]. His grandson Francis (age 21) succeeded 2nd Baron Norreys of Rycote. Bridget Vere Baroness Norreys Rycote (age 17) by marriage Baroness Norreys of Rycote.
On 29th January 1622 Francis Norreys 1st Earl Berkshire (age 42) shot himself with a crossbow at Rycote, Oxfordshire [Map]; probably deliberately.
On 31st January 1622 he died. He was buried at Dorchester Abbey, Oxfordshire [Map]. His daughter Elizabeth (age 19) succeeded 3rd Baroness Norreys of Rycote. Earl Berkshire and Viscount Thame extinct.
Around November 1645 Elizabeth Norreys 3rd Baroness Norreys Rycote (age 42) died. Her daughter Bridget (age 18) succeeded 4th Baroness Norreys of Rycote.
In 1657 Bridget Wray Countess Lindsey (age 30) died. Her son James (age 3) succeeded 5th Baron Norreys of Rycote.
On 1st February 1672 James Bertie 1st Earl of Abingdon (age 18) and Eleanor Lee Countess Abingdon were married at Adderbury, Banbury. She by marriage Baroness Norreys of Rycote. He the son of Montagu Bertie 2nd Earl Lindsey and Bridget Wray Countess Lindsey. They were fifth cousin once removed.
On 22nd May 1699 James Bertie 1st Earl of Abingdon (age 45) died. His son Montagu (age 26) succeeded 2nd Earl Abingdon, 6th Baron Norreys of Rycote.
On 16th June 1743 Montagu Venables Bertie 2nd Earl of Abingdon (age 70) died. His nephew Willoughby (age 50) succeeded 3rd Earl Abingdon, 7th Baron Norreys of Rycote. Anna Maria Collins Countess Abingdon by marriage Countess Abingdon.

On 10th March 1928 Montagu Arthur Bertie 7th Earl of Abingdon (age 91) died. His grandson Montagu (age 40) succeeded 8th Earl Abingdon, 12th Baron Norreys of Rycote.
