On 23rd October 1356 Richard Talbot 2nd Baron Talbot (age 51) died. His son Gilbert (age 24) succeeded 3rd Baron Talbot. Joan Stafford Baroness Cherleton and Talbot (age 12) by marriage Baroness Talbot.
On 24th April 1386 Gilbert Talbot 3rd Baron Talbot (age 54) died at Roales del Pan. His son Richard (age 25) succeeded 4th Baron Talbot. Ankaret Strange 7th Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot (age 25) by marriage Baroness Talbot.
On 7th September 1396 Richard Talbot 7th Baron Strange Blackmere 4th Baron Talbot (age 35) died in London. His son Gilbert (age 13) succeeded 8th Baron Strange Blackmere, 5th Baron Talbot.
Before 1400 Gilbert Talbot 8th Baron Strange Blackmere 5th Baron Talbot (age 16) and Joan Plantagenet Baroness Strange and Talbot (age 16) were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere Baroness Talbot. She the daughter of Thomas of Woodstock 1st Duke of Gloucester and Eleanor Bohun Duchess Gloucester. They were second cousin once removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 19th October 1419 Gilbert Talbot 8th Baron Strange Blackmere 5th Baron Talbot (age 36) died. His daughter Ankaret (age 3) succeeded 9th Baroness Strange Blackmere, 6th Baroness Talbot.
On 13th December 1421 Ankaret Talbot 9th Baroness Strange Blackmere 6th Baroness Talbot (age 5) died. Her uncle John (age 38) succeeded 10th Baron Strange Blackmere, 7th Baron Talbot. Maud Neville 6th Baroness Furnivall (age 28) by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot.
On 6th September 1425 John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury (age 42) and Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 21) were married. She by marriage Baroness Strange Blackmere, Baroness Talbot. The difference in their ages was 21 years. She the daughter of Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick (age 43) and Elizabeth Berkeley Countess Warwick. They were second cousin twice removed. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King Edward I of England.
On 7th July 1453 the Battle of Castillon, the last battle of the Hundred Years War, was fought at Castillon.
John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury (age 70) was killed. His grandson Thomas (age 4) succeeded 2nd Viscount Lisle, 2nd Baron Lisle. Margaret Herbert Viscountess Lisle by marriage Viscountess Lisle. On His son John (age 35) succeeded 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury, 2nd Earl Waterford, 7th Baron Furnivall, 11th Baron Strange Blackmere, 8th Baron Talbot. Elizabeth Butler Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 29) by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury Countess Waterford.
John Talbot 1st Viscount Lisle (age 27) was killed. He the son of John "Old Talbot" Talbot 1st Earl of Shrewsbury.
Robert Hungerford 3rd Baron Hungerford 1st Baron Moleyns (age 22) and John Foix 1st Earl Kendal (age 43) were captured.
On 10th July 1460 the Yorkist army led by the future King Edward IV of England (age 18) and including Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury (age 31), Archbishop George Neville (age 28), William Neville 1st Earl Kent (age 55), Edward Brooke 6th Baron Cobham (age 45) and John Scrope 5th Baron Scrope of Bolton (age 22) defeated the Lancastrian army at the 1460 Battle of Northampton.
Edmund Grey 1st Earl Kent (age 43) had started the day as part of the Lancastrian army but did nothing to prevent the Yorkist army attacking.
King Henry VI of England and II of France (age 38) was captured.
Humphrey Stafford 1st Duke of Buckingham (age 57) was killed. His grandson Henry (age 5) succeeded 2nd Duke of Buckingham, 7th Earl Stafford, 8th Baron Stafford.
John Talbot 2nd Earl of Shrewsbury (age 42) was killed. His son John (age 11) succeeded 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury, 3rd Earl Waterford, 8th Baron Furnivall, 12th Baron Strange Blackmere, 9th Baron Talbot.
Thomas Percy 1st Baron Egremont (age 37) was killed. [Baron Egremont of Egremont Castle in Cumberland extinct. Some authoirities state, however, that he left a son, Sir John Percy, who never assumed the title.]
John Beaumont 1st Viscount Beaumont (age 50) was killed. His son William (age 22) succeeded 2nd Viscount Beaumont, 7th Baron Beaumont.
William Lucy (age 56) was killed apparently by servants of a member of the Stafford family who wanted his wife Margaret Fitzlewis (age 21).
Thomas Tresham (age 40) fought.
William Beaumont 2nd Viscount Beaumont and William Norreys (age 19) were knighted.
Thomas "Bastard of Exeter" Holland was executed following the battle.
The battle was fought south of the River Nene [Map] in the grounds of Delapré Abbey.
On 28th June 1473 John Talbot 3rd Earl of Shrewsbury (age 24) died at Coventry, Warwickshire [Map]. He was buried at Lady Chapel, Worksop Priory. His son George (age 5) succeeded 4th Earl of Shrewsbury, 4th Earl Waterford, 9th Baron Furnivall, 13th Baron Strange Blackmere, 10th Baron Talbot.
On 26th July 1538 George Talbot 4th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 70) died at Wingfield, Suffolk. He was buried at Sheffield Cathedral [Map]. His son Francis (age 38) succeeded 5th Earl of Shrewsbury, 5th Earl Waterford, 10th Baron Furnivall, 14th Baron Strange Blackmere, 11th Baron Talbot.
On 25th September 1560 Francis Talbot 5th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 60) died. His son George (age 32) succeeded 6th Earl of Shrewsbury, 6th Earl Waterford, 11th Baron Furnivall, 15th Baron Strange Blackmere, 12th Baron Talbot. Gertrude Manners Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 35) by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury Countess Waterford.
On 18th November 1590 George Talbot 6th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 62) died. He was buried at Sheffield Cathedral [Map]. His son Gilbert (age 37) succeeded 7th Earl of Shrewsbury, 7th Earl Waterford, 12th Baron Furnivall, 16th Baron Strange Blackmere, 13th Baron Talbot. Mary Cavendish Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 34) by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury Countess Waterford.
On 8th May 1616 Gilbert Talbot 7th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 63) died. His daughter Alethea (age 31) succeeded 13th Baroness Furnivall, 17th Baroness Strange Blackmere, 14th Baroness Talbot. His brother Edward (age 55) succeeded 8th Earl of Shrewsbury, 8th Earl Waterford.
On 3rd June 1654 Alethea Talbot Countess Arundel, Surrey and Norfolk (age 69) died. Her grandson Thomas (age 27) succeeded 14th Baron Furnivall, 18th Baron Strange Blackmere, 15th Baron Talbot.
On 13th December 1677 Thomas Howard 5th Duke of Norfolk (age 50) died in Padua unmarried. He had suffered mental disabilities all his life. His brother Henry (age 49) succeeded 6th Duke Norfolk, 17th or 24th Earl Arundel, 7th Earl Surrey, 4th Earl Norfolk, 18th Baron Segrave, 19th Baron Strange Blackmere, 17th Baron Mowbray, 16th Baron Talbot, 15th Baron Furnivall, 14th Baron Maltravers, 14th Baron Arundel. Jane Bickerton Duchess Norfolk (age 34) by marriage Duchess Norfolk. The marriage being so unpopular with his family they went abroad for some time.
On 13th January 1684 Henry Howard 6th Duke of Norfolk (age 55) died. His son Henry (age 29) succeeded 7th Duke Norfolk, 18th or 25th Earl Arundel, 8th Earl Surrey, 5th Earl Norfolk, 2nd Earl Norwich, 18th Baron Mowbray, 19th Baron Segrave, 16th Baron Furnivall, 20th Baron Strange Blackmere, 17th Baron Talbot, 15th Baron Maltravers, 15th Baron Arundel, 2nd Baron Howard of Castle Rising, Earl Marshal.

On 14th February 1737 Charles Talbot 1st Baron Talbot (age 52) died at Lincoln's Inn Fields. His son William (age 26) succeeded 2nd Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. Mary Cardonnel Countess Talbot (age 18) by marriage Baroness Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
On 27th April 1782 William Talbot 1st Earl Talbot (age 71) died at Lincoln's Inn. Earl Talbot extinct. His daughter Cecil (age 46) succeeded 2nd Baroness Dynevor of Dynevor in Camarthenshire. His nephew John (age 33) succeeded 3rd Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
On 19th May 1793 John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot (age 44) died at Fairford, Gloucestershire [Map]. His son Charles (age 16) succeeded 2nd Earl Talbot, 2nd Viscount Ingestre, 4th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
On 10th January 1849 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot (age 71) died at Ingestre Hall, Staffordshire. His son Henry (age 45) succeeded 3rd Earl Talbot, 3rd Viscount Ingestre, 5th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford (age 41) by marriage Countess Talbot.
On 4th June 1868 Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury (age 64) died. His son Charles (age 38) succeeded 19th Earl of Shrewsbury, 19th Earl Waterford, 4th Earl Talbot, 4th Viscount Ingestre, 6th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 32) by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury, Countess Waterford, Countess Talbot.

Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot: On 13th April 1830 he was born to Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford. On 15th February 1855 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot and Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford were married. He the son of Henry John Chetwynd-Talbot 3rd Earl Talbot 18th Earl of Shrewsbury and Sarah Elizabeth Beresford Countess Talbot Shrewsbury Waterford. In 1874 he was appointed Privy Council. On 11th May 1877 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot died. His son Charles succeeded 20th Earl of Shrewsbury, 20th Earl Waterford, 5th Earl Talbot, 5th Viscount Ingestre, 7th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford: On 20th February 1836 she was born to Richard Howe Cockerell and Theresa Howe Newcomen. On 29th July 1912 Anna Theresa Cockerell Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford died.
On 11th May 1877 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 19th Earl of Shrewsbury 4th Earl Talbot (age 47) died. His son Charles (age 16) succeeded 20th Earl of Shrewsbury, 20th Earl Waterford, 5th Earl Talbot, 5th Viscount Ingestre, 7th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
On 17th May 1921 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot (age 60) died. On 7th May 1921 His grandson John (age 6) succeeded 21st Earl of Shrewsbury, 21st Earl Waterford, 6th Earl Talbot, 6th Viscount Ingestre, 8th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
On 12th November 1980 John Chetwynd-Talbot 21st Earl of Shrewsbury 6th Earl Talbot (age 65) died at Switzerland. His son Charles (age 27) succeeded 22nd Earl of Shrewsbury, 22nd Earl Waterford, 7th Earl Talbot, 7th Viscount Ingestre, 9th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.
John Chetwynd-Talbot 21st Earl of Shrewsbury 6th Earl Talbot: On 1st December 1914 he was born to Charles Chetwynd-Talbot and Winifred Contance Hester Paget. On 17th May 1921 Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 20th Earl of Shrewsbury 5th Earl Talbot died. On 7th May 1921 His grandson John succeeded 21st Earl of Shrewsbury, 21st Earl Waterford, 6th Earl Talbot, 6th Viscount Ingestre, 8th Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire. Before 18th December 1952 John Chetwynd-Talbot 21st Earl of Shrewsbury 6th Earl Talbot and Nina Mortlock Countess Shrewsbury, Waterford and Talbot were married. She by marriage Countess of Shrewsbury, Countess Waterford, Countess Talbot.
