Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 6th October 1643 Thomas Chamberlayne 1st Baronet (age 34) died. His son Thomas (age 8) succeeded 2nd Baronet Chamberlayne of Wickham in Oxfordshire.

In 1682 Thomas Chamberlayne 2nd Baronet (age 47) died at Easton Neston, Northamptonshire. His brother James (age 46) succeeded 3rd Baronet Chamberlayne of Wickham in Oxfordshire.

In 1699 James Chamberlayne 3rd Baronet (age 63) died. His son James succeeded 4th Baronet Chamberlayne of Wickham in Oxfordshire.

On 23rd December 1767 James Chamberlayne 4th Baronet died without male issue. His brother Henry succeeded 5th Baronet Chamberlayne of Wickham in Oxfordshire.

On 25th January 1776 Henry Chamberlayne 5th Baronet died. Baronet Chamberlayne of Wickham in Oxfordshire extinct.
