After 20th July 1628 John Cooper 1st Baronet (age 30) and Mary Hicks Lady Cooper and Morrison were married. She by marriage Lady Cooper of Rockbourne in Southampton.

On 13th April 1886 Anthony Ashley-Cooper 8th Earl Shaftesbury (age 54) died. His son Anthony (age 16) succeeded 9th Earl Shaftesbury, 9th Baron Ashley of Wimborne St Giles, 10th Baronet Cooper of Rockbourne in Southampton.

On 25th March 1961 Anthony Ashley-Cooper 9th Earl of Shaftesbury (age 91) died. His grandson Anthony (age 22) succeeded 10th Earl Shaftesbury, 10th Baron Ashley of Wimborne St Giles, 11th Baronet Cooper of Rockbourne in Southampton.

On 5th November 2004 Anthony Ashley-Cooper 10th Earl of Shaftesbury (age 66) was murdered by the brother, Mohammed M'Barek, of his wife Jamila Ben M'Barek Countess of Shaftesbury (age 43) on her behalf. On 7th April 2005 the remains of Anthony Ashley-Cooper 10th Earl of Shaftesbury were discovered in a valley at Théoule-sur-Mer, Alpes-Maritimes on the outskirts of Cannes. His son Anthony (age 27) succeeded 11th Earl Shaftesbury, 11th Baron Ashley of Wimborne St Giles, 12th Baronet Cooper of Rockbourne in Southampton. He died six weeks after assuming the title folowing the discovery of his father's remains.

On 15th May 2005 Anthony Ashley-Cooper 11th Earl of Shaftesbury (age 27) died of a heart attack. His brother Nicholas (age 25) succeeded 12th Earl Shaftesbury, 12th Baron Ashley of Wimborne St Giles, 13th Baronet Cooper of Rockbourne in Southampton.

He was interred in the crypt of the Chapel of Thomas Guy, St Thomas Street (on the site now shared by King's College London and Guy's Hospital). His nephew Astley (age 43) succeeded 2nd Baronet Cooper of Gadesbridge in Hertfordshire.

On 6th January 1866 Astley Paston Cooper 2nd Baronet (age 67) died. His son Astley (age 41) succeeded 3rd Baronet Paston-Cooper of Gadebridge in Hertfordshire.

On 19th October 1904 Astley Paston Paston-Cooper 3rd Baronet (age 80) died. His son Charles (age 37) succeeded 4th Baronet Paston-Cooper of Gadebridge in Hertfordshire.

In 1941 Charles Naunton Paston Paston-Cooper 4th Baronet (age 73) died. His first cousin Henry (age 65) succeeded 5th Baronet Paston-Cooper of Gadebridge in Hertfordshire.
