On 15th February 1664 Thomas Modyford 1st Baronet (age 44) was created 1st Baronet Modyford of Lincoln's Inn and Governor of Jamaica.

On 1st September 1679 Thomas Modyford 1st Baronet (age 59) died. His son Thomas (age 39) succeeded 2nd Baronet Modyford of Lincoln's Inn.

In October 1679 Thomas Modyford 2nd Baronet (age 39) died. His brother Charles (age 38) succeeded 3rd Baronet Modyford of Lincoln's Inn. Mary Norton Lady Modyford (age 28) by marriage Lady Modyford of Lincoln's Inn. His estate was probated in Jamaica in 1704.
