On 24th November 1738 Charles Turner 1st Baronet (age 72) died without surviving male issue. His brother John (age 68) succeeded 2nd Baronet Turner of Warham in Norfolk.

On 7th January 1739 John Turner 2nd Baronet (age 69) died. His son John (age 26) succeeded 3rd Baronet Turner of Warham in Norfolk.

In or after 1749 John Turner 3rd Baronet (age 36) and Frances Neale Lady Turner were married. She by marriage Lady Turner of Warham in Norfolk.

In 1780 John Turner 3rd Baronet (age 67) died leaving issue two daughters. Baronet Turner of Warham in Norfolk extinct.

On 4th January 1805 Gregory Page-Turner 3rd Baronet (age 56) died. His son Gregory (age 19) succeeded 4th Baronet Page-Turner of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire.

On 6th March 1848 Gregory Osborne Page-Turner 4th Baronet (age 62) died. His brother Edward (age 58) succeeded 5th Baronet Page-Turner of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire.

After 6th March 1848 Edward George Page-Turner 5th Baronet (deceased) died. His son Edward (age 24) succeeded 6th Baronet Page-Turner of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire.

On 24th March 1874 Edward Henry Page-Turner 6th Baronet (age 50) died. His second cousin Henry (age 55) succeeded 7th Baronet Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire.

On 24th July 1899 Henry Edward Leigh Dryden 7th and 4th Baronet (age 80) died. His brother Alfred (age 77) succeeded 8th Baronet Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire, 5th Baronet Dryden of Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire.

On 2nd April 1912 Alfred Erasmus Dryden 8th and 5th Baronet (age 90) died. His son Arthur (age 59) succeeded 9th Baronet Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire, 6th Baronet Dryden of Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire.

All About History Books

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.

On 22nd August 1941 Noel Percy Hugh Dryden 10th and 7th Baronet (age 30) and Rosamund Mary Scrope Lady Dryden were married. She by marriage Lady Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire, Lady Dryden of Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire.

On 23rd March 1970 Noel Percy Hugh Dryden 10th and 7th Baronet (age 59) died. His son John (age 26) succeeded 11th Baronet Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire, 8th Baronet Dryden of Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire.

On 29th June 2022 John Stephen Gyles Dryden 11th and 8th Baronet (age 78) died. His son John (age 46) succeeded 12th Baronet Dryden of Ambrosden in Oxfordshire, 9th Baronet Dryden of Canons Ashby in Northamptonshire.
