In 22nd January 1816 Drummond Smith 1st Baronet (age 76) died with remainder to the heirs male of his niece Augusta, daughter of his eldest brother Joshua Smith (age 81). His great nephew Charles (age 15) succeeded 2nd Baronet Smith of Tring Park in Hertfordshire.
