Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 20th June 1119 Henry Beaumont 1st Earl Warwick (age 69) died. His son Roger (age 17) succeeded 2nd Earl Warwick.
In 1130 Roger Beaumont 2nd Earl Warwick (age 28) and Gundred Warenne Countess Warwick were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. In 1298 William Beauchamp 9th Earl Warwick (age 61) died. His son Guy (age 26) succeeded 10th Earl Warwick.
In 1309 Guy Beauchamp 10th Earl Warwick (age 37) and Alice Tosny Countess Warwick (age 24) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. He the son of William Beauchamp 9th Earl Warwick and Maud Fitzjohn Countess Warwick. They were second cousin twice removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Henry I "Beauclerc" England.
On 12th August 1315 Guy Beauchamp 10th Earl Warwick (age 43) died. Possibly poisoned - see Thomas Walsingham. He was buried at Bordesley Abbey, Worcestershire [Map]. His son Thomas (age 2) succeeded 11th Earl Warwick. Given his young age Thomas Beauchamp 11th Earl Warwick became a ward of King Edward II of England (age 31) until 1326.
On 19th April 1319 Thomas Beauchamp 11th Earl Warwick (age 6) and Katherine Mortimer Countess Warwick (age 5) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. An arranged marriage although not clear who arranged it or whose ward Thomas Beauchamp 11th Earl Warwick was (his father Guy Beauchamp 10th Earl Warwick had died four years before) - possibly by King Edward II of England (age 34) as a means of securing the Welsh March. The Beauchamp family established, the Mortimer family aspirational. The marriage took place after Roger Mortimer 1st Earl March (age 31) had returned from his tenure as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland and before he rebelled against King Edward II of England in opposition to Hugh "Younger" Despencer 1st Baron Despencer (age 33). She the daughter of Roger Mortimer 1st Earl March and Joan Geneville Baroness Mortimer 2nd Baroness Geneville (age 33). He the son of Guy Beauchamp 10th Earl Warwick and Alice Tosny Countess Warwick (age 34). They were half second cousin once removed. She a great x 4 granddaughter of King John of England.

Before 1425 Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick (age 42) and Isabel Despencer Countess Warwick and Worcester (age 24) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. She the daughter of Thomas Despencer 1st Earl Gloucester and Constance York Countess Gloucester. He the son of Thomas Beauchamp 12th Earl Warwick and Margaret Ferrers Countess Warwick. They were third cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward I of England. She a great granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
On 30th April 1439 Richard Beauchamp 13th Earl Warwick (age 57) died at Rouen, France [Map]. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Warwick [Map]. His son Henry (age 14) succeeded 14th Earl Warwick. Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick (age 15) by marriage Countess Warwick.
On 4th February 1443 Anne Beauchamp 15th Countess Warwick was born to Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick (age 17) and Cecily Neville Duchess Warwick (age 19) at Cardiff. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
Baron Burghesh, and the representation of the three Despencers Baronies abeyant between her cousin George Neville 5th and 3rd Baron Abergavenny and her aunt Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick (age 16).
Her subsequent death aged four (her father died when she was aged three) resulted in Richard "Kingmaker" Neville Earl Warwick, 6th Earl Salisbury (age 14) unexpectedly becoming Earl of Warwick by marriage ie by right of his wife Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick who was the younger Anne's Aunt.
On 11th June 1446 Henry Beauchamp 1st Duke Warwick (age 21) died at Hanley Castle, Worcestershire. Duke Warwick extinct. His daughter Anne (age 3) succeeded 15th Countess Warwick, 7th Baroness Burghesh.
On 3rd January 1448 Anne Beauchamp 15th Countess Warwick (age 4) died at Ewelme, Oxfordshire aged four whilst in the care of Alice Chaucer Duchess Suffolk (age 44). She was buried at Reading Abbey, Berkshire [Map]. Baron Burghesh abeyant between her three-half aunts and her full aunt Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick (age 21). It isn't clear why the barony was not subject to the same legal dispute that the Earldom of Warwick was subject to - see following.
After a prolonged legal dispute between her three half-aunts, Margaret Beauchamp Countess Shrewsbury and Waterford (age 44), Eleanor Beauchamp Duchess Somerset (age 39), Elizabeth Beauchamp Baroness Latimer (age 31) and her full aunt Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick, the courts decided her full aunt Anne Beauchamp should succeed. Anne Beauchamp succeeded 16th Countess Warwick. Her husband Richard Neville (age 19) by marriage Earl Warwick; the first step on his journey to becoming Kingmaker.
The decision of the court was not subscribed to by Edmund Beaufort Earl Somerset (age 42) who was married to Anne's half-sister Eleanor; he wanted his share of the considerable Beauchamp inheritance.

To the right worshipful and discreet Commons of this present Parliament.
Sheweth unto your wisdoms and discretions the king's true liege woman, Anne countess of Warwick, which never offended his most redoubted highness; for she, immediately after the death of her lord and husband (age 17) - on whose soul God have mercy - for none offence by her done, but dreading only trouble, being that time within this realm, entered into the sanctuary of Beaulieu [Map] for surety of her person, to dispose for the weal and health of the soul of her said lord and husband, as right and conscience required her so to do; making within five days, or near thereabouts, after her entry into the said sanctuary, her labours, suits, and means to the king's highness for her safeguard, to be had as diligently and effectually as her power would extend. She not ceasing, but after her power continiling in such labours, suits, and means, insomuch that, in absence of clerks, she hath written letters in that behalf to the king's highness with her own hand, and not only making such labours, suits, and means to the king's highness, soothly also to the queen's (age 34) good grace, to my right redoubted lady the king's mother, to my lady the king's eldest daughter, to my lords the king's brethren, to my ladies the king's sisters, to my lady of Bedford (age 56), mother to the queen, and to other ladies noble of this realm; in which labours, suits, and means, she hath continued hitherto, and so will continue, as she owes to do, till it may please the king, of his most good and noble grace, to have consideration that, during the life of her said lord and husband, she was covert baron, which point she remits to your great wisdoms, and that after his decease, all the time of her being in the said sainctuary, she hath duly kept her fidelity and liegeance, and obeyed the king's commandments. Howbeity it hath pleased the king's highness, by some sinister information to his said highness made, to direct his most dread letters to the abbot of the monastery of Beaulieu, with right sharp commandment that such persons as his highness sent to the said monastery should have guard and strait keeping of her person, which was and is to her great heart's grievance, she specially fearing that the privileges and liberties of the church, by such keeping of her person, might be interrupted and violated, where the privileges of the said sanctuary were never so largely attempted unto this time, as is said; yet the said Anne and Countess, under protestations by her made, hath suffered strait keeping of her person and yet doth, that her fidelity and liegeance to the king's highness the better might be understood, hoping she might the rather have had largess to make suits to the king's highness in her own person for her livelihood and rightful inheritance, which livelihood and inheritance, with all revenues and profits thereto pertaining, with her jointure also, and dower of the earldom of Salisbury, fully and wholly hath been restrained from her, from the time of the death of her said lord and husband unto this day. And forasmuch as our sovereign lord the king of his great grace hath set and assembled his high court of Parliament for reformations, right, and equity to all his subjects and liege people duly to be ministered, the said Anne and Countess humbly beseecheth your great wisdom to ponder and weigh in your consciences her right and true title of her inheritance, as the earldom of Warwick and Spencer's lands, to which she is rightfully born by lineal succession, and also her jointure and dower of the earldom of Salisbury aforesaid. And to shew her your benevolence, that by the king's good grace and authority of this his noble Parliament she may to her foresaid livelihood and rightful inheritance duly be restored and it enjoy, as the laws of Almighty God and of this noble realm, right, also, and conscience doth require; beseeching heartily your great goodnesses, in the reverence of Almighty God and of his most blessed mother, will of grace to consider the poor estate she stands in, how in her own person she may not solicit the premises as she would, an she might, nor is of power any sufficient solicitor in this behalf to make; and though she might, as (she; may not, there is none that dare take it upon him; to have also this poor bill in your tender remembrance, that your perfect charity and good will may solicit the eflFect of the same, which to do, her power at this time may not extend. And shall pray and do pray to God for you.
On 20th September 1492 Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess Warwick (age 66) died. Arguably, Her grandson Edward (age 17) succeeded 17th Earl Warwick. His succession was unaffected by his father's attainder since the Earldom was held by his mother.
Her two daughters Isabel Neville Duchess Clarence and Anne Neville Queen Consort England had both predeceased her. Her remaining descendants were Isabel's children Margaret (age 19) and Edward.
The situation is further complicated by Ann Beauchamp having been declared legally dead in 1471 at which time the Earldom was, arguably, abeyant between her two daughters.
Both Margaret and Edward were executed by the Tudors, in 1541 and 1499, respectively.
On 28th November 1499 Edward "Last Plantagenet" York 17th Earl Warwick (age 24) was executed at Tower Hill [Map].

Documentation held in Spain apparently describes Catherine of Aragon's (age 13) parents Ferdinand II King Aragon (age 47) and Isabella Queen Castile (age 48) expressing concern that Edward "Last Plantagenet" York 17th Earl Warwick was a potential claimant to throne, and being reluctant for their daughter to marry Arthur Prince of Wales (age 13) whilst there was a threat to his accession causing King Henry VII of England and Ireland (age 42) to use Perkin Warbreck's (deceased) attempted escape with Edward "Last Plantagenet" York 17th Earl Warwick as a means to an end.

In January 1553 John Dudley 2nd Earl Warwick (age 26) by writ of acceleration 2nd Earl Warwick through a summons to Parliament. Anne Seymour Countess of Warwick (age 15) by marriage Countess Warwick.
In August 1553 John Dudley 2nd Earl Warwick (age 26) was attainted. Earl Warwick was forfeit. However, his brother Ambrose Dudley 3rd Earl Warwick (age 23) was restored to the Earldom in 1561.
On 26th December 1554 Ambrose Dudley 3rd Earl Warwick (age 24) was created 1st Baron Lisle. Elizabeth Tailboys Countess Warwick (age 32) by marriage Countess Warwick.
In 1561 Ambrose Dudley 3rd Earl Warwick (age 31) was restored 3rd Earl Warwick. Elizabeth Tailboys Countess Warwick (age 38) by marriage Countess Warwick.
On 11th November 1565 Ambrose Dudley 3rd Earl Warwick (age 35) and Anne Russell Countess Warwick (age 17) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. She the daughter of Francis Russell 2nd Earl Bedford (age 38) and Margaret St John Countess Bedford. He the son of John Dudley 1st Duke Northumberland and Jane Guildford Duchess Northumberland.
On 21st February 1590 Ambrose Dudley 3rd Earl Warwick (age 60) died. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Warwick [Map]. Earl Warwick and Baron Lisle extinct.

On 20th March 1619 Robert Rich 1st Earl Warwick (age 59) died. His son Robert (age 31) succeeded 2nd Earl Warwick, 4th Baron Rich of Leez. Frances Hatton Countess Warwick (age 29) by marriage Countess Warwick.
He was buried at St Lawrence's Church, Snarford [Map]. Unusual head and shoulder portrait sculpture of deceased full face, with a profile of his wife Frances Wray Countess Warwick behind, set in a circular medallion. To either side are pelleted Pilasters supporting an entablature with scrolled Cartouche of arms and flanked by heraldic supporters. The whole is painted and gilded and beneath is a panel containing an inscribed poem. Above his Arms implaled with hers. His are quartered 1&4 
Rich Arms 2&3 Baldry Arms (his mother), hers quartered 1&4 Wray 2&3 Unknown. the monument is perhaps the work of Epiphanius Evesham. Sculpted by Epiphanius Evesham.
Before 20th January 1626 Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 38) and Susan Rowe Countess Warwick (age 44) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. He the son of Robert Rich 1st Earl Warwick and Penelope Devereux Countess Devonshire.
On 9th April 1632 Robert Rich 3rd Earl Warwick (age 20) and Anne Cavendish Countess Warwick (age 21) were married at Battersea, Surrey. She by marriage Countess Warwick. She the daughter of William Cavendish 2nd Earl Devonshire and Christian Bruce Countess Devonshire. He the son of Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 44) and Frances Hatton Countess Warwick.
After 1638 Robert Rich 3rd Earl Warwick (age 26) and Anne Cheeke Countess Warwick (age 18) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. He the son of Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 50) and Frances Hatton Countess Warwick. They were first cousins.
After 1646 Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 58) and Eleanor Wortley Countess Sussex Warwick Manchester were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. She the daughter of Richard Wortley and Elizabeth Boughton Countess Devonshire. He the son of Robert Rich 1st Earl Warwick and Penelope Devereux Countess Devonshire. They were fifth cousin once removed.
On 19th April 1658 Robert Rich 2nd Earl Warwick (age 70) died. His son Robert (age 46) succeeded 3rd Earl Warwick, 5th Baron Rich of Leez.
On 29th May 1659 Robert Rich 3rd Earl Warwick (age 47) died. His brother Charles (age 44) succeeded 4th Earl Warwick, 6th Baron Rich of Leez. Mary Boyle Countess Warwick (age 33) by marriage Countess Warwick.
On 24th August 1673 Charles Rich 4th Earl Warwick (age 58) died. His first cousin Robert (age 54) succeeded 5th Earl Warwick, 7th Baron Rich of Leez. Anne Montagu Countess Warwick and Holland by marriage Countess Warwick.
On 16th April 1675 Robert Rich 5th Earl Warwick 2nd Earl Holland (age 56) died. His son Edward (age 2) succeeded 6th Earl Warwick, 3rd Earl Holland, 8th Baron Rich of Leez.
In 1697 Edward Rich 6th Earl Warwick 3rd Earl Holland (age 24) and Charlotte Myddelton Countess Warwick and Holland (age 17) were married. She by marriage Countess Warwick. He the son of Robert Rich 5th Earl Warwick 2nd Earl Holland and Anne Montagu Countess Warwick and Holland.
On 31st July 1710 Edward Rich 6th Earl Warwick 3rd Earl Holland (age 37) died. His son Edward (age 12) succeeded 7th Earl Warwick, 4th Earl Holland, 9th Baron Rich of Leez.
On 16th August 1721 Edward Rich 7th Earl Warwick 4th Earl Holland (age 23) died. His second cousin Edward (age 26) succeeded 8th Earl Warwick, 5th Earl Holland, 10th Baron Rich of Leez. Mary Stanton Countess Warwick and Holland by marriage Countess Warwick, Countess Holland.
