The King has been pleased to direct Letters Patent to be passed under the Great Seal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, granting the dignity of a Viscount of the said United Kingdom unto Victor Albert Francis Charles, Lord Churchill (age 37), KCVO, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style, and title of Viscount Churchill, of Rolleston, in the county of Leicester.
On 3rd January 1934 Victor Albert Francis Spencer 1st Viscount Churchill (age 69) died of pneumonia. His son Victor (age 44) succeeded 2nd Viscount Churchill of Rolleston in Leicestershire, 4th Baron Churchill Wychwood in Oxfordshire.
In 1973 Victor Alexander Spencer 2nd Viscount Churchill (age 83) died. His half brother Victor (age 39) succeeded 3rd Viscount Churchill of Rolleston in Leicestershire, 5th Baron Churchill Wychwood in Oxfordshire.
