He the son of Lothair III King West Francia (age 41) and Emma Unknown.

Around 984 William "Liberator" Arles 1st Count Provence 1st Count Arles (age 34) and [his wife] Adelaide Blanche Ingelger Queen Consort West Francia (age 44) were married.
