On 28th September 1106 King Henry I "Beauclerc" England (age 38) defeated his older brother Robert Curthose III Duke Normandy (age 55) at the Battle of Tinchebray at Tinchebray, Orne.
William Warenne 2nd Earl of Surrey and Robert Beaumont 1st Earl of Leicester Count Meulan (age 66). Elias La Flèche De Baugency I Count Maine commanded the reserve. The following fought for Henry:
William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (age 20).
Alan Canhiart IV Duke Brittany (age 43).

On 9th September 1107 Roger Bigod died. [his future wife] Cecily Bigod (age 17) and her husband William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (age 21) inherited Belvoir Castle [Map].
In or before 1130 William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (age 43) and Cecily Bigod (age 39) were married.
Around 1130 [his son] William "Le Breton" D'Aubigny of Belvoir was born to William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (age 44) and [his wife] Cecily Bigod (age 40) at Belvoir Castle [Map].
After 1134 [his former wife] Cecily Bigod (deceased) died.
Around 1140 St Mary the Virgin Church, Bottesford, Leicestershire [Map] was commissioned by William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (age 54). The current Chancel formed that church.
After 1148 William "Brito aka Breton" D'Aubigny (deceased) died at Belvoir Castle [Map]. He was buried at Belvoir Priory [Map]. His son [his son] William "Le Breton" D'Aubigny of Belvoir (age 18) inherited Belvoir Castle [Map].
[his father] Main D'Aubigny and Adela Bohun were married.
