On 8th September 1761 [his father] King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 23) and [his step-mother] Charlotte Mecklenburg Strelitz Queen Consort England (age 17) were married at Chapel Royal, St James's Palace. She by marriage Queen Consort England. He the son of [his grandfather] Frederick Louis Hanover Prince of Wales and [his grandmother] Augusta Saxe Coburg Altenburg (age 41). They were third cousins. He a grandson of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 21st August 1765 King William IV of the United Kingdom was born to King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 27) at Buckingham Palace [Map].

His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. Death of King George III

On 29th January 1820 [his father] King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 81) died at Windsor Castle [Map]. His reign the third longest after Victoria and Elizabeth II. His son [his half-brother] George (age 57) succeeded IV King Great Britain and Ireland. Caroline of Brunswick Queen Consort England (age 51) by marriage Queen Consort England.

On 10th December 1820 [his daughter] Elizabeth Georgiana Adelaide Hanover was born to King William IV of the United Kingdom (age 55) and [his wife] Queen Adelaide of England (age 28).

On 4th March 1821 [his daughter] Elizabeth Georgiana Adelaide Hanover died.

On 19th May 1821 [his illegitimate son] Frederick Fitzclarence (age 21) and [his daughter-in-law] Augusta Boyle (age 19) were married. He the illegitmate son of King William IV of the United Kingdom (age 55) and Dorothea Bland aka "Mrs Jordan".

Before 18th October 1821 [his son-in-law] William Hay 18th Earl Erroll (age 20) and [his illegitimate daughter] Elizabeth Fitzclarence Countess Erroll (age 20) were married. Death of King William IV Succession of Queen Victoria

On 20th June 1837 King William IV of the United Kingdom (age 71) died at Windsor Castle [Map]. His niece Victoria (age 18) succeeded I Queen Great Britain and Ireland. His brother [his half-brother] Ernest (age 66) succeeded King Hanover. Frederica Mecklenburg Strelitz Queen Consort Hanover (age 59) by marriage Queen Consort Hanover.

At 5am Francis Nathaniel Conyngham 2nd Marquess Conyngham (age 40) and Archbishop William Howley (age 71) went to Kensington Palace to inform the Princess she was now Queen. Francis Nathaniel Conyngham 2nd Marquess Conyngham was the first to address her as 'Your Majesty'.

On 8th July 1837 King William IV of the United Kingdom (deceased) was buried at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle [Map].
