On 14th February 1891 [her son] Thomas Tyrer was born to [her husband] George Tyrer (age 33) and Annie m Tyrer (age 23).

On 1st October 1916 [her son] Thomas Tyrer (age 25) was killed in action whilst serving with the 8th Battalion of the Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire) Regiment. Service Number 15373. He has a memorial at Pier and Face 7 A and 7 B Thiepval Memorial Cemetery, Somme, France. At the time of his death his mother was living at 4 Sett Bank, Hayfield.

Around February 1933 Annie m Tyrer (age 65) died.
