Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone

Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone is in Baron Ireland.

Around 8th August 1587 Andrew Stewart 1st Baron Castle Stuart (age 27) and Margaret Kennedy Baroness Castle Stuart were married. She by marriage Baroness Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

On 7th November 1619 Andrew Stewart 1st Baron Castle Stuart (age 59) was created 1st Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

In 1629 Andrew Stewart 1st Baron Castle Stuart (age 69) died. His son Andrew (age 39) succeeded 2nd Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

In 1639 Andrew Stewart 2nd Baron Castle Stuart (age 49) died. His son Andrew succeeded 3rd Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

On 10th August 1650 Andrew Stewart 3rd Baron Castle Stuart died. His brother Josias (age 14) succeeded 4th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

On 2nd December 1662 Josias Stewart 4th Baron Castle Stuart (age 27) died without issue. His uncle John succeeded 5th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

In 1685 John Stewart 5th Baron Castle Stuart died. His nephew Robert succeeded 6th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone although he never claimed the title since the family estates had been alienated.

In March 1685 Captain Robert Stewart 6th Baron Castle Stuart died. His son Andrew (age 13) de jure 7th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone althougvh he didn't claim the title since the ancestrals lands had been given away as part of the dowry when Mary Stewart married Henry Howard 5th Earl Suffolk (age 57).

In 1715 Andrew Stewart 7th Baron Castle Stuart (age 43) died. His son Robert (age 14) de jure 8th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone although, like his father, he never claimed the title.

On 2nd March 1742 Robert Stewart 8th Baron Castle Stuart (age 41) died. His son Andrew (age 16) de jure 9th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

In 1774 Andrew Thomas Stewart 1st Earl Castle Stewart (age 48) claimed the title 9th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone by petitioning King George III of Great Britain and Ireland (age 35).

On 26th August 1809 Andrew Thomas Stewart 1st Earl Castle Stewart (age 83) died. His son Robert (age 25) succeeded 2nd Earl Castle Stewart in Tyrone, 2nd Viscount Castle Stewart in Tyrone, 10th Baron Castle Stuart of County Tyrone.

Andrew Stewart 2nd Baron Castle Stuart and Anne Stewart Baroness Castle Stuart were married. She by marriage Baroness Castle Stuart of County Tyrone. She the daughter of John Stewart 5th Earl Atholl and Mary Ruthven Countess Atholl. They were second cousin once removed.
