In 1465 John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming was born to Malcolm Fleming (age 21).
In 1477 [his father] Malcolm Fleming (age 33) was killed by John Tweedie of Drumelzier, and his followers, while hawking.
Between 26th March 1491 and 16th January 1493 [his grandfather] Robert Fleming 1st Lord Fleming (age 75) died. His grandson John (age 26) succeeded 2nd Lord Fleming.
On 12th January 1494 [his son] Malcolm Fleming 3rd Lord Fleming was born to John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming (age 29) and [his future wife] Eupheme Drummond.
Before 5th May 1496 John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming (age 31) and Eupheme Drummond were married.
In 1501 sisters [his sister-in-law] Margaret Drummond (age 26), [his wife] Eupheme Drummond and [his sister-in-law] Sibylla Drummond died from poisoning, food poisoning, at Drummond Castle.
Before 13th February 1509 John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming (age 44) and Margaret Stewart were married. She the daughter of Matthew Stewart 2nd Earl Lennox and Elizabeth Hamilton Countess Lennox (age 34). They were fourth cousin once removed. She a great x 5 granddaughter of King Edward III of England.
Around 1518 John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming (age 53) and Agnes Somerville Countess Rothes (age 20) were married. The difference in their ages was 33 years.
Around 1st November 1524 John Fleming 2nd Lord Fleming (age 59) died. His son [his son] Malcolm (age 30) succeeded 3rd Lord Fleming.

The Chronicle of Geoffrey le Baker of Swinbroke. Baker was a secular clerk from Swinbroke, now Swinbrook, an Oxfordshire village two miles east of Burford. His Chronicle describes the events of the period 1303-1356: Gaveston, Bannockburn, Boroughbridge, the murder of King Edward II, the Scottish Wars, Sluys, Crécy, the Black Death, Winchelsea and Poitiers. To quote Herbert Bruce 'it possesses a vigorous and characteristic style, and its value for particular events between 1303 and 1356 has been recognised by its editor and by subsequent writers'. The book provides remarkable detail about the events it describes. Baker's text has been augmented with hundreds of notes, including extracts from other contemporary chronicles, such as the Annales Londonienses, Annales Paulini, Murimuth, Lanercost, Avesbury, Guisborough and Froissart to enrich the reader's understanding. The translation takes as its source the 'Chronicon Galfridi le Baker de Swynebroke' published in 1889, edited by Edward Maunde Thompson. Available at Amazon in eBook and Paperback.
