In 1628 Dugald Campbell 1st Baronet (age 53) was created 1st Baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck.
In 1641 Dugald Campbell 1st Baronet (age 66) died. His son Duncan (age 44) succeeded 2nd Baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck.
On 2nd February 1645 Duncan Campbell 2nd Baronet (age 48) was captured and killed at the 1645 Battle of Inverlochy possibly in retaliation for his killing of members of the MacDonald clan at Rathlin Island three years before. His son Dugald (age 20) succeeded 3rd Baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck.
Around 1662 Dugald Campbell 3rd Baronet (age 37) died. His nephew Duncan (age 3) succeeded 4th Baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck.
On 19th December 1701 Duncan Campbell 4th Baronet (age 42) died. His son James (age 23) succeeded 5th Baronet Campbell of Auchinbreck. Janet Macleod Lady Campbell (age 33) by marriage Lady Campbell of Auchinbreck.
On 21st December 1717 James Campbell 5th Baronet (age 39) and Susanna Campbell Lady Campbell (age 40) were married. She by marriage Lady Campbell of Auchinbreck. They were fifth cousins.
On 20th April 1736 James Campbell 5th Baronet (age 58) and Margaret Campbell Lady Campbell (age 32) were married. She by marriage Lady Campbell of Auchinbreck. The difference in their ages was 25 years.
