In 1000 [his father] García Sánchez "Tremulous" II King Pamplona died. His son Sancho (age 6) succeeded III King Pamplona, Count Aragon.

Around 1007 [his illegitimate son] Ramiro Sánchez I King Aragon was born illegitimately to Sancho "Great" III (age 13) and Sancha Aibar. He married (1) Agnes Unknown Queen Consort Aragon (2) 22nd August 1036 Gisberga or Ermesinda Bigorre Queen Consort Aragon and had issue.

In 1010 Sancho "Great" III (age 16) and Muniadona García Queen Consort Pamplona were married. She by marriage Queen Consort Pamplona. He the son of García Sánchez "Tremulous" II King Pamplona and Jimena Fernández Bermúdez Queen Consort Pamplona.

Around 1020 [his son] Gonzalo Sánchez Jiménez was born to Sancho "Great" III (age 26) and [his wife] Muniadona García Queen Consort Pamplona.

In or before 1033 [his son] Ferdinand "Great" I King Leon (age 17) and [his daughter-in-law] Sancha Astur Leonese (age 14) were married. She the daughter of [his former brother-in-law] Alfonso "Noble" V King Leon and Elvira González Queen Consort Leon. He the son of Sancho "Great" III King Pamplona (age 38) and [his wife] Muniadona García Queen Consort Pamplona. They were half second cousins.

On 18th October 1035 Sancho "Great" III (age 41) died. His son [his illegitimate son] Ramiro (age 28) succeeded I King Aragon.
