Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 22nd February 1393 John Devereux 1st Baron Devereux [aged 56] died. He was buried at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map]. His son John [aged 15] succeeded 2nd Baron Devereux.

On 4th February 1400 Bernard Brocas [aged 46] was tried, and condemned to death, by Thomas Fitzalan 10th Earl of Surrey 5th or 12th Earl of Arundel [aged 18] at Tower of London [Map] for his role in the Epiphany Rising having been captured in Cirencester, Gloucestershire [Map].

On 5th February 1400 Bernard Brocas was beheaded at Tyburn [Map]. He was buried at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map].

In 1414 John Norbury died at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map].

On 21st June 1488 Elizabeth Norbury [aged 50] died at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map].

On 28th January 1501 John Dynham 1st Baron Dynham [aged 68] died at Lambeth, Surrey [Map]. He was buried at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map]. Baron Dinham extinct.

In 1503 Richard Hastings Baron Willoughby [aged 70] died at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map]. He was buried at Greyfriars Church Farringdon Within [Map].
