Jean de Waurin was a French Chronicler, from the Artois region, who was born around 1400, and died around 1474. Waurin’s Chronicle of England, Volume 6, covering the period 1450 to 1471, from which we have selected and translated Chapters relating to the Wars of the Roses, provides a vivid, original, contemporary description of key events some of which he witnessed first-hand, some of which he was told by the key people involved with whom Waurin had a personal relationship.

Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk

Summary

28th July 1791. 1st. Berney Brograve 1st Baronet [aged 64] created.

23rd February 1797. 2nd. Son George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet [aged 25] succeeded.

1st June 1828. 2nd. George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet extinct.

On 28th July 1791 Berney Brograve 1st Baronet [aged 64] was created 1st Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

On 23rd February 1797 Berney Brograve 1st Baronet [aged 70] died. His son George [aged 25] succeeded 2nd Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

In 1798 George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet [aged 25] and Emma Louisa Whitwell Lady Brograve were married. She by marriage Lady Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk.

On 1st June 1828 George Berney Brograve 2nd Baronet [aged 56] died. Baronet Brograve of Worstead House in Norfolk extinct.
